nah, this isn't a hidden gem. I tried it when it launched. the whole "no gacha for characters" sounds great, but getting characters is either gated behind payment or takes a LONG time. Also, you can't have the same character on both offense and defence in PvP for some reason.
@@serezelveydawn It means you only get them by paying. For exemple, Zaira is a fire type character, but she has a light type variation I'm never getting because I refuse to spend my money on mobile games.
I think the really frustrating part for Genshin is that creating some kind of repeatable endgame content isn't even really that hard. They can literally make a raid dungeon by creating a randomized dungeon with randomized rooms and place randomized mobs in the initial rooms. Then place a tough boss (preferably something new) in the last room. Use the difficulty points system they developed back in the Symphony Cube event, and then make the rewards Mora and Exp Books. Ta-da, a simple raid dungeon that you can probably develop in under 6 weeks.

No matter how many new mobs or dungeon designs they make (which will still be a recurring work mind you), people will still get bored and ask for another one anyway. Some won't have a preference for it because it can't be universally liked, so you still end up with people still unsatisfied. Providing content is a constant cycle, there no 'end-game' to end all end-game content.
Lord of Heroes is actually a Total War with anime skins. I love how the game deviate from a hardcore gacha just to enjoy the game. To be honest, LoH is a good game with interesting heroes. One of its strength as well is how immersive the story when progressing your teams. It’s like all your heroes are actually involved in the story. The Alliance Boss Raid is essentially one its strengths that etched the game among many gacha RPG games. If you played Fire Emblem or Suikoden before, it is heavily inspired on those games in terms of political setup and the gameplay reminds me of a triple A JRPG. Nonetheless, there are some gacha elements on it that can be avoided if you don’t want to put too much time on LoH and just want to play the game for simple fun. But paying for hero skins and even gacha heroes is not bad at all if you really want to get that hero to build your team.
Its a great and I really like how it handles the energy system (unlike resin system in Genshin ) I can play and grind much more compare to Genshin , they have to follow the example of Lord of heroes if they want us to still play their game

just started playing this. even it is fully auto and turn based rpg, which is something that im not prefer to play. but i love the style, the action, the animation. the character in the battle is exactly like the character in the banner or namecard. some game got pretty good looking character in the banner and suddenly the character turn into tiny character in the battle
This game is ngl A perfect match for Genshin It has an energy system so there are times when you won't be able to do anything. While then, you can just go to Genshin and do your daily shenanigans. Once ur done, back to LoH. This can repeat Only problem is...if you wanna use this as a pair for the resin system...ahahaha- LoH - 60 energy/5 min Genshin - 1 resin /8 min ...good luck with that....
This is an epic game on par with Summoner Wars. From skills to characters it is awesome. But those contracts if broken by mistake or missing a day ... The penalty is brutal. Not only is there too much dialogue but reinstate is costly....damn.but I can't stop playing...
I'm a genshin player but I just downloaded this game a few days ago and I'm pleseantly surprised... It really doesn't rely on gatcha I agree. I LOVE the animation, the voice acting
Honestly, Lord of Heroes in one of the best. Some people can't stand it because you can't just simply pay and get your easy-to-build characters, but this game is one of a kind, it's still possible to have great character without paying, but you need to be consistent and build them patiently. Its story is not predictable and very interesting indeed. Highly recommended!

I hate gacha, eg genshin impact, because they extract money out of us by releasin content slow so we can spend our money om charactets which later turn out to be shit because u cant get suitable artifacts even after months of spending resin on ome dungeon.

The game itself looks not bad. But the characters looks boring. All of them looks more or less not special or characters i would like to play. They looks like good npc characters xD But Kings Raid is a good game. I played there 5-7days and had 4-5Really good characters. But i had to delete it, i haven't enough place on my phone thanks to Honkai Impact (and this is my absolute favorite, Genshin is on my ps).
This is a whale game, as in to say some heroes cannot obtain if you don't buy them. Resources are scarce, like super scarce unless again, you pay money. That said, I've been playing it for months as my side game. It has a lot going for it, but don't expect that time invested will get you anything more than a casual player unless you pay.
Played this game before and it truly is a hidden gem. Unlike genshin impact, it has a daily login bonus, and the rewards that it gives is unlike genshin. The Only Downside is that if you have low memory phone, then you might want to reconsider downloading this, but overall it's up to you

It's nice but I found it lacking in terms of character design like the only husbando material I saw was Mikhail and Krom.
