They've been radio silent for a long time since their initial announcement trailer. I'm hella excited for Project Mugen...but Neverness to Everness is taking their limelight. Project Mugen needs to do some kind of promotional advertising to show that they're still alive and that the game is actually in progress lol. It's kind of like Blue Protocol...they took forever to do anything for global release...and at this point, I've forgotten and given up on the game lol. Most people say that Blue Protocol is a dead game, or that they've taken forever to release any kind of update for US/Global, that all the hype is gone. Same thing might happen with Project Mugen.

@@ShiiryaThe gacha industry was simply PNG waifu collection simulator until Mihoyo released Honkai Impact 3rd, it has 3D waifus, battle mechanics that is never seen before in a gacha game, complete with fully voiced characters and story dialogues. It forever changed the gacha industry standard. You may not heard about it before Genshin came along but Honkai Impact 3rd is the most played gacha in Asia. Like the other comment said, this is what most players want. You may not like gacha games in general buy hey, at least these games don't have western woke ideologies in it unlike some triple A games out there.

The thing is that its 2 different aspect and people tdoesnt seems to understand gatcha is NOT the gameplay, genshin has a gameplay for the fight part and all AND the gatcha componant, gatcha is NOT a type of game, its a type of monetisation and support.
Well sometime it overlap with some gameplay element and back in the day yeah sure gatcha was literaly the only meaning of some game but thats is literaly just a cash machine.

Really depends on how this runs on a phone UE5 will backfire so hard for Hotta UE is simply not mobile friendly compared to Unity especially on the Android side.
At this point, developers should've just release their games at pc and console only rather than limiting their game's potential just to be barely playable on phones. I know it's a lucrative market, but it's soooo saturated with gacha games already

As someone who still plays Tower of Fantasy from time to time, this looks like a vast improvement coming from Hotta. We shall see if they stepped up their game on launch.
Sadly, as a mobile gatcha player, I am already traumatized by Hotta Studio in their previous game Tower of Fantasy ... 😢

I love the surreal-meets-mundane-meets-semi future aesthetic it has. I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for this and already pre-registered, but again, something tells me this one is a pretty long way out so it seems almost silly to have any level of excitement for a thing with no release date.

As good it is. It is made by Hotta Studio which is same with TOF. Considering what happen with TOF where they don't listen to the fanbase and now they flop. But that maybe just me... I'm still willing to give it a chance. What do guys think?

Because it's a mobile game. They will probably have to tone down a lot of things. Don't expect anything and you will not disappoint.
Mind you, this game surely is very good looking and the driving feature is awesome. But this is tested in high or highest graphics. So ppl with low end phones or mid end PCs might feel a bit off with the low/med graphics. Hope it gets better optimizations than some recent gacha games
And pretty sure they won't be as stingy as genshut

Understandable, the characters in gacha games are the main focus after all. The world, combat, story are all secondary since people spend money to obtain the characters.

It looks a lot like tower of fantasy, the animations are almost the same driving is there seems a bit better. It looks like an upgraded version of that game.

Gacha action rpgs really need to figure out how to do combat a little differently because they are all identical. Why not have your party all present at once like in Final Fantasy? Why not add more mechanics to combat like special meters (Like Rage mode in God of War), magic or spells, consumables (things like explosives or ammunition for gun wielding characters), multiple combo routes like in Monster Hunter, anything to spice the combat up. Just attack, skill and ultimate is getting very stale.

1) theres a gun-wielding character that attack in long range
2) option to turn camera shake off
being old sucks.
I just hope the gacha system is not as predatory as ToF. Everything else looks awesome!!

After ToF, I’m really skeptical about this game. Hotta Studio has already really disappointed me.
My only thing is that the ui looks like genshin. Only the ui tho I kinda wish they would change that like say change where the character swap is and change the look of the abilities and health bar. Other than that the game looks cool
I kind of wish ZZZ was a bit of this! Don't get me wrong, zzz street quests are very wholesome, but they lack a bit a exploration. Take NTE urbain exploration with zzz combat/gameplay, and that would make a fantastic game ! Excited to try NTE anyway !
