AJ do you play now or you have stopped due to your injuries i had kinda same situation a thumb surgery that ended my season and the next one came a back surgery and from that i have stop playing in a team and the problems racked up like knee problems etc!
i know how you feel AJ i also suffered a really bad concussion. It happened when i was in grade 10 in one of my high school football games. I had to spend the weekend in the hospital. My first day back at school i had to ask my coaches and teammates what happened and how i got my concussion in the game because i don't remember any of the game or days before and stuff is still foggy and I cant remember much around the time i was recovering from my concussion. It happened very similar to yours i got told my head smoked the ground and i got knocked out. They said i was motionless on the ground before I woke up or however you would call that. It took 2 very long months before i could do any physical activity without getting headaches. That happened 6 years ago and it still effects me to this day. I forget stuff all the time and really simple things to that are really easy to remember. Before my grades were pretty good in school and after my concussion my grades got quite a bit worse. But i dont suffer from headaches or anything and i became a way better player for all my sports after. Hopefully you make a full recovery.
