    Both of his hips replaced, still hits the gym, doing squats; Ronnie is the man.

      ***** I've had 6 pelvic breaks, femur broke and I have a plate and screws holding me together. I squatted for the first 4 months after I could walk again, and squats actually hurt my back (Where pelvis and spine meet) too much to be worthwhile, not to mention having to rebuild my right leg from the break in it too. Still deadlift but it's like 85% upper body barely use legs. So yeah, some people legitimately cannot squat.

    • @alessandrozuffi5068

      Shit happens. Using a walker and crutches and having to move my body with just my arms for a few months gave me some wonderful Trap/Upper Back/Tricep strength gains though lol.

      I would say Arnold had a larger impact. We're talking marketing and expansion as well of bodybuilding. But just aesthetically speaking, I would much rather look like Arnold. No doubt though that Ronnie is one of the greatest who ever competed.

    It's hard and painful to say but Ronnie is done yet.. Can't walk decently.. That's sad.. But by the way he keeps his head up and never give up ! That makes Ronnie the greatest ..

    • @mikebrill1030

      Julien Jordison He is most definitely not done yet. As is shown in the video, he recently had hip replacement surgery. The fact he's back at it speaks volumes in itself. Recovery takes time, and he's not fighting for a Mr. O now, but he will be back to the serious weights again soon, no doubt.

    • @juliencomte5207
      @juliencomte5207 9 років тому

    • @mikebrill1030

      Julien Jordison Ronnie had serious problems walking before the surgery because his hips were bad- that's why he had to get the surgery. Ronnie has a hard time walking now because he's still recovering from the surgery.

    I could really give a damn about guys choosing to take gear or not but being under 60 and having to get both your hips replaced should tell you something. All that heavy squatting (800+ lbs) and other extreme stuff obviously took its toil. Steroids allow you to do inhuman stuff, but the long term effects aren't worth it. Say what you want.
