This was one of your best videos. I like how you were teaching a student while explaining the rollbacks. It’s easier to understand when you are teaching someone else instead of you on a horse showing it. 😊 awesome video
Seems like I was onto something.... The collaboration between you and Fallon was fun to watch but in all seriousness the barrel horse industry could learn a lot of foundation skills for the reining industry, no doubt. I hope we see more crossing over soon.
Great exercise, great tip. It was so helpful to hear the instructions you gave Gabanana to correct whatever she was doing as she worked through it. Thanks!
You are so well articulated. You properly and efficiently education. I feel like I’m getting a tune up when I’m watching these videos! (Hope you saw my joke there) Your philosophy on training and schooling is extremely highly sophisticated and I love it.
Can you do a video on what you would do if you’re having trouble keeping a horse straight in the rundown/stop/backup? I don’t mean the backup at the end of the pattern, just steps backward from coming out a stop.
Hi again MATT Many helpful tips in this one. Am reminded what great teaching skills you have. So enjoy Carmine! What do you have coming up with him? And yourself? Thx as always for sharing.
10 meter circles ... pirouette ... it's all good horsemanship no matter the discipline - add the jumpers & cross country into the mix . Don't think that we don't rollback in competition . Super video !

So glad you enjoyed it
Thank you Gabana for putting yourself out there and helping us learn with you!
I'm not a Reiner, I am a barrel racer, but I see so many tips that would help in my industry. Love the tips.
You’re on to something!
So true !

Hopefully , Matt is opening a way for learning from other disciplines .
Good riding is good riding and we need many tools within our kits .

Thank you for these tips. Horsemanship is horsemanship so you are helping more than just the Reining industry. I’m a barrel racer and ranch rider. 🤠🤠
Amen to that!!! Thanks !

Are you going to start doing lessons at your new place? I’d love to come learn some drills from you.

Super video !
Avery nice set up MR. Mills
👊🏾👊🏾
Thank you for this!! 😭👍🏻
Yep!
love the cones. barrel horses yes
I wonder how much slick heel time Carmine gets. In the beginning of the video he looks back like he was checking to see if Bananas is wearing spurs.
Horses do not look to see if we wear spurs although it was a cute retort !
And you can choose which lead you come out on ... but Matt , you know this .
yo matt big fan but no disrespect when i ask this but would you ever move out of the desert?
Never say never
Great video but the music was very distracting and at times difficulty to hear you in the beginning.
🤙🏾
I love these helpful clips but the background music is so loud that it makes it hard to hear you.
We will work on that
U can't hear instructor for that damn loud music
So aggressive ! 😳. Sorry
