    Ingredients of Jhinge Posto Recipe:
    1. Jhinge / Ridge Gourd (500 gm).
    2. Turmeric powder (½ tsp).
    3. Poppy seeds paste (4 tbsp).
    4. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
    5. Black cumin seeds (¼ tsp).
    6. 1 dry red chilli.
    7. Red chilli powder (¼ tsp).
    8. Salt (as per your taste).
    9. Sugar (as per your taste).
    10. Refined oil (2 tbsp).
    Methods of how to make Jhinga Posto:
    1. Heat the pan and add 2 tbsp of refined oil.
    2. Add ¼ tsp black cumin seeds, 1 dry red chilli. Fry for 10 sec.
    3. Add ridge gourd, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp red chilli powder. Mixed it well.
    4. Now fry it in high flame for 2 or 3 min.
    5. Add 4 tbsp poppy seeds paste, green chilli. Mixed it well.
    6. Now cook in high flame for 2 min.
    7. Add 1 tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
    8. Add 1 cup water. When boiling cover it for 10 min in medium flame.
    9. After 10 min taste it. Add more salt or sugar as per your taste.
    10. Now cook it for 1or2 min in high flame.
    11. Put off gas oven. The recipe is ready.
    12. Serve hot Jhinge Posto with hot steamed rice, roti, paratha etc.
