Guys, I am planning to buy this shotgun soon. How is the reliability? My firearms have always been the Beretta Xtrema, gas operated of course. Never have had a problem in cold weather. The Sorix is an inertia driven firearm. Any comments from Weatherby!!

Did you fix the unloading? The 18i is a PITA to unload, you can’t unload from the tube directly (at least not easily), and you can’t just rack the bolt to unload. You have to press the bolt lock back switch every single time. Also is the butt pad still that stupid proprietary design? Will you be selling replacement pads? will you be offering stocks of different lengths since you claim to be doing work on the stocks in-house in WY now?

That’s a sweet shotgun and I like the color schemes and features. Being a cross dominant shooter I can appreciate the ability to put the charging handle on the left side.
