  • What can Europe look like if we see migration not only as a problem but also as a solution? 'VPRO Baclight' takes a month-long look at a new narrative on migration. The migrant as luck-seeker instead of happiness-seeker. And what can we learn from super-diverse cities where minorities are the majority?

Locals are never asked if they want migrants in their community.

Clever scheme, win their hearts through the stomach. If some fear those who are different, they need to deal with that emotion within themselves.

Netherlands should embrace their tolerance to immigration as in history. It has benefited the country in the past and will surely do in the future as well. There is no reason for discrimination when people of different ethnicities can bring new values and ideas.
