In order to play sparking zero smoothly on the Steam Deck all you have to do is drop the resolution scale down to 85 in the graphics settings menu. You can also turn the antialiasing, shadows, etc all down to Low. You're welcome.

@@kimsoo16 I play on everything set to Low (and it loooks Pretty.) There are some flaws here and there but as long as the game is playable, i'm happy~ :3 online works too...I play on pc, not on steam deck~
@@kimsoo16 On PC it seems you can't play online if you do this. I've tried 45 FPS and 35 FPS and it will just boot you from the match after character intro. Hopefully day 1 patch fixes this, because this shouldn't be happening when official release is around the corner. Right now I will try 65 FPS.

When I play offline mode, after each combat it takes between 20 and 30 seconds for the automatic save, but when connected the save is immediate, is there any way to correct that?
I'm wanting to get Sparking zero for my steam deck but I'm not sure if I want to do a fix like this for it 😢. I'm sure the devs will do something themselves so we don't have to dive into the game files and paste a code to make it play better. If it's as simple as that, they can easily make a much better fix if they optimize the game for more systems including steam deck
Has anyone run into the issue where you open the correct folder and no files are inside so you can’t access the engine file? I’ve clicked on show hidden files and still nothing sadly

I am glad I brought it to light as quickly as I could than! I was going to hold off a little on publishing since I had a couple of other things I needed to do first, but I decided to just publish and get it done beforehand just incase.
So I tried to do this and when I searched for the intended file path, I got nothing. When I try to search manually, I make it to the "Local" folder and from there all I have is a "Microsoft" folder that contains other things. The "SparkingZero" folder is nowhere to be found. What's going on here? I'm playing via family sharing if that makes any difference
This is great info! I’ve also managed to get the game running at a stable 60 FPS on my oled deck with a 10 TDP limit to keep 3 hour battery life. All settings on low or off where possible, anti aliasing on medium, full screen, 720 resolution, and 80% scaling. The game still looks great and playing at 60 fps without slowdowns so far (half way through Goku storyline)

Ngl with the frame rate fix I set it to 60 and put most of the settings on medium (I did high and it still runs but it doesn't look too good so medium or low will work) and put the resolution on 75 (you could do 85 or 90) and it runs smoothly fr but Idk if it works for every stage but try it out.

Can SOMEONE please find a way to decrease framerate on a computer. I can barely play this at 10 frames with all settings to there lowest. and I don't really want to save up for a entire console such as ps5 or this since I used all of it buying this game, and it had very poor results.
Now I'm getting random slowdowns/stutters, even in menus. I've seen people say it's the shaders, but it didn't happen yesterday. Very annoying, but I'm still not getting a PS5

I am hearing conflicting evidence of it working on Windows. In theory, it should, but I have heard it not working for some. I am going to investigate myself as well. As for getting banned, I am not sure either. I haven't had the chance to play online yet due to my region.
I want to play it in 30fps. If I can't set it to 30 without breaking anything I really don't care. It's exhausting with modern graphics. Maybe I can hope for a Switch 2 Port.

for how this game looks, it should run like DBZ kakarot. There are way better looking games that run on steam deck (Crysis 3) that run at 60fps and push the GPU way harder. Welcome to the era of unreal engine 😂
The Steam Deck got no vibration so I won’t be playing dragon ball sparkling zero on my Steam Deck I’m playing it on the PC valve ruined their handheld PC I’ll only play games that don’t have vibration on the Steam Deck
PS Portal requires a constant internet connections, so not the most portable unless you have WiFi wherever you go. And console is great, but it is a different kind of experience! Being able to play in the palm of your hands is just awesome.

According to reports, two players using the same engine fixes at same framerate can play together. Otherwise, there are issues connecting.

SH2 doesn't need it. The logic isn't hard coded to stick to a specific framerate.

It doesn’t break the game. This fix changes the logic framerate. So by doing this, the hard coded framerate changes to whatever you set it to.
