In today's video I share with you 25 weekly zero waste habits that I actually do. I wanted to expand upon my video, 100 zero waste swaps you have to try, to show you how I implement my minimalist and sustainable habits into my weekly life.
It's finally time to Spring clean, plus I have no weekend plans so a clean house is on the cards! This is part one, but in the next video we'll be planting a lot too!
With the shakey bottle spray thingy, half fill it with water to dissolve the pod and then top it up once it’s dissolved. It’s the surface tension at the top of the water that will disrupt the pod, so if you fill it up all the way to the top there won’t be much surface tension as the top is narrower than the middle 😊
Don’t worry about shaking the bottle, I just leave it for half hour till it disintegrates then give it a shake to mix it up, works well x
Tidy up and organize… get rid of clutter and you may just find that it was blocking the door you’ve been looking for. Many times I remind myself to continue on with my decluttering journey, but it is challenging when one lives in the wilderness because so much of the “stuff” comes in handy at a later date… and “stuff” keeps us from buying more things. Thanks for the inspiring video today Immy… love your outdoor folding spiderweb laundry hanging rack. We are thinking of putting one in our back yard (cementing it in place). How do you like yours? Big tip! If you put the ocean saver pod in first then add some boiling water and shake it up, it dissolves much more quickly! Then after add the normal temperature water until it’s full :)

thanks for another gorgeous chil video!! if you don't get on super well with the ocean saver tabs, i recommend the smol ones to everyone i know! same premise as the ocean saver but they dissolve themselves (no fifteen minutes of shaking required!) and i find do a better job of cleaning, and they're super economical too !
It was frustrating watching the Ocean Saver Tabs take so long
For the cleaning tabs in the spray bottle I put it in with warm water, wonder off and do something else, come back and it dissolves by itself, then give it a quick shake and it's done. You don't need to shake it until it dissolves xx
Okay this is random but the fact the the outlets have on/off switches is so smart! We don’t have that in the USA as far as know.

We use the ocean spray stuff. It is good but you do just have to fill it ahead of time and leave it alone to dissolve for a while!

If you use warm/hot water they dissolve more quickly :)
May I ask, what brand is the white-blue dress in the video headliner?
gardening question - how do you decide what type of potting mix/amendments to purchase? i know you use your own compost, so i’m wondering more about the other ingredients. do you use mix with animal products/by-products? what about peat moss? struggling with this as a vegan gardener!

I think you are meant to use warm water with the ocean saver sachets as it helps them dissolve? Not sure if I read this somewhere 🤷🏼♀️🙂

Next time use warm water and leave it out in the sun to dissolve... like marking sun tea but your making cleaning product 🌞

Looks like a Hills Hoist to me....an australian staple, but they are available in the UK (if that is where you are). Great for saving garden space.
