- Been a while since my last post, hope everyone is coping ok with the current COVID situation. I've been tinkering away on the race car over the last few months trying to get some odds and ends sorted out.

This brake upgrade consists of a number of parts, and a lot of mates lent a hand to get the job done! Up the front of the E36 we are now running:
*Stoptech 4 piston calipers and braided brake lines - Kurtles Kustoms
*E36 95' M3 Knuckles - Bimmerworld
*Brand new wheel bearings and hubs - Clickable Automotive
*73mm extended studs - Nice Products
*Open ended steel lug nuts - GKTech
*Eibach 10mm spacer - Mike (Best Exhaust)
Off for a wheel alignment next week, then back to the track in a couple of weeks time!
Enjoy!
Good stuff. Voiceover makes videos a lot easier to watch.
Tiit Saul Cheers mate, glad you liked it 👍🏼
What's the idea being changing to M3 knuckles? Just for the brakes or other benefits?
I explain it a bit later in the video, but the M3 knuckles are just to suit the brakes. The bracket they use are to suit M3's. So it was either get a custom bracket fabricated or buy M3 knuckles
Only heard it after i commented, I'll wait till the end next time 😅
What's your wheel setup and tyres ? front and rears ? also which differential do you use ?
The wheels are BBS RC304's 17x8. Tyres are Zestino gredge 07RS, 245 wide at all 4 corners. Diff is a medium case (188mm), i just had a new LSD built by Kurtles Kustoms using a RacingDiffs All solutions LSD, I'll have a video of that install out in the next few weeks. It's untested, so have a track day next week to try it out 👍
@@DomsE36Garage what ratio diff ? Nice wheel setup looks really well :)
@@daved3479 Cheers mate, currently have a 3.91 ratio, but my new LSD is a 3.46 ratio. Should give me about 30kph higher top speed.
@@DomsE36Garage that's Awesome ! Love you're video's always watching from the UK :)
@@daved3479 Thanks bud, great to hear! :)
