2.47 is an endlessly beautiful frame!!! (along with pretty much all of the frames in this video tbh). My best friend is about to move out to Nanjing from England and so this video is perfectly timed and will hopefully be both calming, and cause for excitement. IT'S JUST SO BLOOMIN' LOVELY, ERIKA.

You've done justice, I think everyone who used to live in Nanjing feels exactly as how you've explained it. I know in my last year I tried to film a different area of the city not knowing if it has worth to an outside audience. With your video, a flood of awesome good memories are coming back.
These reflections are always so endlessly real and it's such a joy to be given these insights into your life. This is also beautifully shot and graded. Seriously well done.

this is absolutely beautiful. nanjing is my hometown, and seeing all the familiar sights, and hearing your experience and feelings that mirror my own almost exactly-it's amazingly nostalgic and poignant and sentimental, thank you for this.

I'm going to Nanjing in October (first visit to China ever!) so I've been scouring the web for info and videos. What a beautiful view of the city you've captured!
