Italian here, this game was massive when it came out back in 2010
The graphic novel was made by two of the best artists in the country, Paolo Mottura and Fabio Celoni
Topolino itself is a massive 3500+ issue magazine which regularly comes bundled with disney themed statues, toys, cards, books, and more

Back in 2019, I found The Art of Epic Mickey for 60 bucks on Amazon Japan. I’m a happy owner ever since that day.

The Epic Mickey 2 graphic novel was not only exclusive to France and Italy, according to the Wiki it was also exclusive to Brazil. I even got a comic that promotes it.
It's one of the few comics I want to own... mainly to boast it lol.

4:55 I want to say that if Disney wanted to, they could have released the comic in English. The original manuscript adaptation by Peter David was already in English, Disney just refused to publish it. Because they pretty much never want their comics made known in their English speaking market for some reason (i will infinitely be annoyed by that lol)
Aaand I think there is actually a pretty good chance that some of the comics will be reprinted when Rebrushed comes out! The publishers here in Europe work mostly independent from Disney and if they think they can get some money from this Epic Mickey hype, they will not leave it laying there. Also because most probably still have the comics laying in their archives, so it’ll cost them very little.
