OMG Gilly, I think you're great. I've only recently found paper bead making when a tut popped up on my feed. As I'm quite crafty, I delved further and found you! You seem such a lovely person, generous, with your knowledge and very kind to give us free printables, which are gorgeous. Also a very good demonstrator. I love watching your videos. I've found a new hobby and now I feel a bit more confident, I'll be making gifts for my holiday mates, 16 of us going to Turkey! 8 bracelets for the girls and 8 pendants for the boys. Wish me luck! Thank you - much appreciated. I can do that but I have a Silhouette machine. But it would be the same method. I am thinking of getting a Cricut but haven’t made my mind up yet! I started with a Cricut many years ago but back then, you couldn’t import your own designs, so I moved to Silhouette. But Cricut moved on with the design technology so maybe I’ll have another go. The main thing is getting your rolling even right from the first turn of the bead tool - and even after 40 plus years of making paper beads, I still sometimes struggle with that, especially with thicker paper or the strips that I put gold tape on. I haven’t made beads from newspaper for about 15 years because I never have newspapers - I don’t read them - too depressing! But I will see what I can do for you. It is very easy, you can make fatter beads by using lots of strips at once or skinnier beads with less strips. Maybe I will buy a newspaper especially to show you😍. Thank you for watching. ❤️🙏
