Or is it restricted by, once you check in you cannot access the airport facilities, or have to go through security checkpoint, etc. reason for my asking, our layover is approximately 24 hours, we want to take full advantage of the lounge access that we have while having access to a airside hotel room. You can still access everything! The hotel is on the post-security and you can come and go as you please. We were there overnight so a lot of the restaurants and shops were closed but if they were open, we could have stepped out to take advantage of them whenever.

We paid for a chunk of hours which made it a little cheaper per hour. It was $166 usd for 6 hours.

No, this was on the inside of security so we never went through immigration or customs.
