This was recorded the very day I kicked my husband out for unacceptable, intolerable behaviour because the grass was greener with his cocaine taking friends. He will never accept his addiction to alcohol!
Thank you for sharing. Thank you for your service. I can relate so much with some of your circumstances! I grew up very book smart and somewhat in the church. The first time I attended an AA meeting I looked down on those there. I thought I was way better than some of those poor souls. Boy was I wrong. I went deeper into addiction. By the time I hit rock bottom, my life was such a chaotic mess. My husband was ready to leave me. Both my daughters were teenagers angry at me. I was desperate. I was on my knees...crying and begging for God to help me. I was ready to surrender. Lucky for me God heard me and on that day 4/6/16 was my first day of life, first day of sobriety. Praise God and thank goodness for the online Aa meetings.
