Thank you for sharing your story. I am also British and spent 9 years in China in Sichuan Province and can see why it was so easy to go down the route you did. My last weekend in China I spent over 20,000 RMB partying.
In my last year and a half I had found a shop that delivers ice cold hoegaarden for an excellent price in 10 minutes and it became a regular thing for me as I didn't have to keep going between different shops so people wouldn't know how much I was drinking. I would just buy a 24 pack each time and it was at my door in minutes.
The bike ride sounds like one hell of a story. I spent 6 days riding my motorbike to Dali and it was incredible and really got to experience how friendly and welcoming the people in the countryside can be.
I can't imagine how hard this must have been for you, congratulations on your recovery. This is not your typical recovery story.

Hey there. I can't stick around right at the moment. DT's are fucking no joke! I've taken hallucinogenic drugs before I've also had insane to describe hangovers...but DT's were something I wouldn't...wish on my worst enemy! They scared me straight. I went through them 3 times (3rd times a charm) in my life. Now, 172 days sober. I'll watch the video later. Thanks for doing these. much love

If recovery stories got their production taken under the wing of Hollywood glamourization. You made it sound so cool man. Such flowery wording. Your recovery and understanding of self is certainly far deeper than your peers.

Delirium Tremens is singular, not plural.
The s at the end is not a plural marker. Latin uses -ns to mark participles. “Tremens” means “shaking”, the full phrase means “shaking madness/confusion”.

I threw myself onto a cop car while running into traffic and jumped on the hood just to turn myself in for a terrible warrant i tried dealing with 3 times before that - i even went to the cop station in saskatoon crying saying i was wanted and needed to be arrested - the cop was like wait here while i openly drank vodka in the police station - after half an hour the cop came back and asked me to come back later!!!! And i was drinking right there and he saw. I felt so UNwanted and confused.

I genuinely think I have been through the DTs, and it was scary to say the least. I was literally unable to not hear things. And I stood in the rain for 2 hours and slept in my car to not annoy my flatmate. It was all I'm my head. It was fking scary.
