- Shore fishing in Norway for plaice
A short video which show you Leksvik Pier, a very popular mark around 30 minutes drive from Skarnsundet. A fantastic easy fishing mark for every angler.
In this video Phill is targeting plaice and hake, watch to find out how he got on.
Thanks for watching!

Nice one. Very good quality video fair play. Shame the fish didn't play ball. Me and Tom will have to come over and do an entire series fishing there like we are doing in bodo in March
Cheers for the upload. Keep them coming. I can't believe you haven't got thousands of followers!!
Good luck lads
No new content in over a year? Being an American of Norwegian descent Im very disappointed.I recently discovered this vlog and absolutely love it
I think shore fishing in Norway is great fun!!!
i need to wonder if my gear, mostly custom build blanks by calstar 8/9 foot rods with conventional reels by avet, shimano and daiwa... braided lines and florocarbon leads... will work in Norwegian waters. It should right? i use them mainly for pacific ocean inshore and offshore fishing. gear is rated anywhere from 10lbs to blue fin tuna cows.....
what time of year to you consider the best time for plaice ?
April onwards mate
What rods were you using?
Hand built New Zealand Blank but any stiff 10ft rod would be fine
Id dig some ragworm if you lend me your fork. Mine wont fit in the suitcase.
No problem mate, I will have Three ready for next season.
Am looking forward to coming end of January. The views look fantastic
No offense but thats a flounder not a plaice. Plaice have orange spots
I thought it was a plaice, it depends mainly what type of group they live over to how there spots turn out. Cheers
It is a plaice the spots just are not as vivid as normal.
