What happens when you round out/off a Torx bolt! - VB#6

Trying to take the brake disc off my 2003 Mini Cooper and the Bloody Torx socket (T-50) rounds out! I then had to weld up the hole, weld a bolt onto it, put a nut on it and weld the nut to the bolt! Not a happy bunny!
