In Kerala, Peolpes' Minset are less divided , less fights means more progressive unity than any other states... Humanity ko man ne wale log Keralat mein zyada hai...toh kaise Sustainable Development nehin hoga
Some people think that Kerala has no industries or factories but actually we have a lot of heavy industries run by Central and state govts. Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd, Kerala Agro Machineries Ltd, Transformers and Electricals Kerala Ltd, Travancore Cochin Chemicals Ltd, Fertilizers and Chemicals of Travancore 2 divisions one at Cochin and other at Ambalamukal , Hindustan Machine Tools, Indian Rare Earths Ltd at Chavara and Udyogmandal, Cochin Refineries, Cochin Shipyard, Hindustan Organo Chemicals and many others at Kollam and Eloor industrial belt in a small densely populated state.
I'm from kerala Glad to see the growth of kerala The main reason for this is foriegn money. My father was unemployed in kerala He does only some less salaried job which is not sufficient lead a good life. Later he go to other States. He worked in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil nadu etc... He says the best was living in gujarat. He stayed ( worked ) 4years there. Then he goes to gulf. Saudi to dubai. Then he works in Ajman ( Uae ) More than 15years he worked there and he builds a good house Takes me to the best school in our area Have money to take care our health ( lot of health issues in my family still fathers income saved us ) Now see our HDI increased, we contributed in education, health Now what does goverment does??? My father hates communism. He told me these things. Kerala have the most hardworking people in all india and i think that is the reason for kerala's growth not stupid goverment...
I want to visit Kerala once in my life.. Other state governments should follow the Kerala model for development of people not for their own interests.. Thanks❤🌹❤🌹❤ sir for this video....
My background is from kerala and the development it is only good on paper, we depend on near by state for studies, hospitality and the reason why we leave for gulf is lack of job in the state. Infrastructure wise it is not that developed. One good thing about kerala is we follow our rules correctly..
Most of comments are criticising ki Kerala dependent hai gulf money pe an that too from people from states like UP, BIHAR jahan se sbse zyada labour migration hota hai. Kerala se kuch seekhna chahiye baki states ko b pr only good things
their unity is more noted, they are very much united across all religions, caste, etc...if 1 family member goes abroad, they will help other family members, relatives, and even friends to that country....this is my observation...and apart from the temple and mosque....there are much older churches which Thomas, the disciple of Jesus established in Kerala and 1 in Tamil Nadu
I wish central govt took the initiative to develop Kochi as a major international port city like Bombay so that we wont have to suck up to the Arabs for wealth. Bombay plays a major role in Maharashtra's GDP; If Kochi is developed as such, our much smaller state will benefit in a greater scale.
Obviously Kerala is highly developed. But to be fair, Kerala had the highest literacy rate (46%) during independence. Kerala was already ahead in all fields during independence. So to compare Kerala with say, UP or Bihar is unfair. UP and Bihar had literacy rates of about less than 10%. And Kerala was not one of the poorest states in 1956. It was one of the richest then. Sir got it wrong ig
Adarsh Gupta is doing a fantastic job by making these high quality educational videos. I am a big fan of your content and would love to see you cover more interesting topics in the future.
High literacy rate's credit goes to british also because pre independence it was higher than any other state according to my knowledge and after independence it kept going higher and higher.
Kerala's development is similar to that of Sri Lanka it is way significant compared to India and Pakistan but miniscule compared to developed countries.
Gulf remittances was jackpot for labourers of Kerala. Not only those who migrated to gulf countries became rich but also locals got employment as most of the NRI remittances where diverted to construction industry. Missionaries and reformists led by Shri narayana guru contributed to education and development. Both UDF and ldf failed to capitalise the huge remittances for development. Tourism sector still lacs infrastructure. Government has no proper strategy to attract inward migration of malayalee diaspora spread not just in entire nook and corner of the country but entire globe. Kerala can easily be converted into biggest city of the world due to its blessed geographical feature
Everything has it's own merits and demerits. Though Kerala is best/better in HDI but still they depend on foreign remittances, which is not a good thing in long-term. Also, if there's no Industrialization it's hard to grow and develop. They're developing their tourism sector which is quite good I think. Moreover, that's why I don't like social welfare schemes. It's good for a certain period of time but not in the long run. Their people must think about expanding their various Industries.
Saudi oil surplus money has a great hand in Kerela development which is downplayed for political reasons to show that govts are good. But with Saudi moving away from oil economy and resorting to protectionism , it will be worth analysing how social welfare and fiscal policy go together
Presently a sharp fall has found for migrant from Kerala to gulf countries. Which has been taken over by migrants from UP, Bihar, Andhra, Hyderabad, Panjab, Tamil Nadu etc.
Because of NRI, this the reality. Till now u can see most of the kerala's are working in abroad. In kerala their is no industry to generate money. More than 40% of kerala 's gdp from foreign remittance. So all thanks to our NRI.
You have not mentioned the shortcomings of Kerala model. Covid was very poorly handled as is evident from the data of infection rate and death figures. Also, industrialists are rapidly moving out of Kerala due to hostile business environment - eg. Kitex ...
The reason for kerala growth is not because of the governments ruled kerala..Its because of the people who runied their lives in the deserts and the kings who ruled kerala is the only reason for kerala's development which we seen now..The example for that is the wealth of padmanabha swami temple..Kings who built roads, canals, schools, universities, tourism centres like museums and all the basic things before independence itself..The government only follows what the kings did in kerala..Now the main income of kerala is gulf money..The job of government is only looting it..They r so busy in looting the public money😁
Only focusing on education not enough.. Due to bad governance from very long time industry and any other major sector not entering Kerala. Labor group major issues in Kerala. Sad part is all educated working for other state and country than there own state..
My steate realy acheved lot of development 1 women development 2 education 3 equal in social male female .better sex ratio 4 less child death and that model lot of development But 1 negative jobless conditions every budy going outside.
This is a half-truth. Also see the part where we discuss Revenue deficit, Fiscal deficit, Debt to GDP and all. This video conveniently ignores the negative parts of Kerala.
Kerala is well literate not well educated. Dependency on gulf can't be discarded. Being coastel state is also very important factor. They have both fertile agricultural land and coastel area.

I wish central govt took the initiative to develop Kochi as a major international port city like Bombay so that we wont have to suck up to the Arabs for wealth. Bombay plays a major role in Maharashtra's GDP; If Kochi is developed as such, our much smaller state will benefit in a greater scale.
Kerala WAS gods own country

Nobody knows the name of cm of kerala but everyone knows about the development of kerala.
Work in silence and let your success make noise.
The whole credit goes to government and people
amazing information, thank you sir.
Kerala's development is similar to that of Sri Lanka it is way significant compared to India and Pakistan but miniscule compared to developed countries.
Overall literacy 96.2 while male: 96.11 and female: 92.07? Numbers dont add up. How can overall be higher than both indivisual rates?

Curse for whom?

I am from Kerala and I can say that don't try to imitate our model. It is not sustainable.
Our Haryana is top as per income per capital👍 4th In HDI
Arabs give them a high Salaried job for Kerala's people.....
