Thanks. I’ve never heard of this split. I’ve learned from you to make a split that works for you, your goals, needs and priorities. Not just to follow programs blindly. Also, looking full in no time. You dieted for so long. Glad to see you getting the food back in
I've been doing limb days(biceps/triceps and quads/hamstrings) and torso days(delts, back, and chest). 4 days a week, 2 of each. Mainly to not make upper body days be too long or exhausting(more than necessary). That being said, however, i am open to maybe changing things up. I would be concerned about being a bit much hitting all 3 delts plus limbs in one day and still trying to keep things roughly an hour or less.
I have the same problem with my smith machine at my apartment gym. The bar is smaller and really digs in my traps. Hate that. I only squat here if I just have no time to leave. Great video as always 💪🏾
Does your A1C rise during bulks? Your boy was almost pre diabetic at peak bulk per a recent blood test. I find it hard to hit ~3,400 calories with all ‘clean’ food, but maybe I need to cut back on white flour while increasing my fiber more
I broke my thumb a few weeks back and haven’t been able to pick up dumbbells since. Been hitting legs and using cuffs for my shoulder workouts and it’s been killer on the tension aspect for my delts.
I've been doing a 4 day split of Limbs/Torso for a couple of months. So just add triceps! Chest doesnt require much attention. Back does so it gets the focus on Torso day I dont want huge Legs, so I keep the sets low and intensity high, and Arms and Shoulders aren't fatiguing as much as legs so they can go first. Great combo for Limbs day.
Delts make so much sense with legs. My favorite split is upper/lower but I always move my lateral raises/upright rows to leg day, it just makes the split way more viable to break up the upper day a little bit
what do you think about the argument against milking eccentrics that it accumulates too much fatigue and therefore you shouldn’t milk them or go super slow? do you agree? or do you think the stimulus you get from them outweighs this fatigue? if so, is this different for natural vs enhanced lifters since you guys can recover much faster?
I like supersetting arms with legs to save some time. Since i'm not that strong I don't really get a lot of systemic fatigue from arms and just a little from legs.
Y'know fitness youtube needs to start normalizing splitting "legs" in 4 parts trained separately (quads, hams, glutes, calves) (i.e. separate days). just like arms are split in biceps/triceps/shoulders/forearms. No more "leg day". Have a quad day, ham day, glute day.
There is this great fitness influencer and his son. They recommend pausing at the bottom of each rep. Dr Mic Something and Jerry I think. I'll try to find the link and send it your way!
question regarding legs. is a "front squat" on a hack squat machine even worth it vs just using the hack squat machine? i started doing them due to regular squats just leaving me absolutely drained after 1 set. im waiting to purchase the RP app asap, but kinda wanted to know if it really matters i guess.
One think holding me back from incorporating more bicep and delt work in my ppl split is time to properly warm up, what’s your standard warmup routine?
Bloodstorm Jerry, Slayer of Steel and Death. How do you get past the RPE 10, deep burning pain when doing heavy leg press and squats when the H+ ions build up too fast, even at 8RIR? Break up my sets?
Hey Jared, I noticed you did squats in Smith machine in which upper part of rails is not fixed, so bar moves back and forward a bit during squatting, I have the same Smith in my gym. Maybe you know why did they design it like this?
@@JAREDFEATHERRP Oh well than probably my gym has another brand, but upper part in mine is moving and I can't understand why anybody would do Smith like this. Every time I need to fix both rails with ropes to unmoving back part. Thanks
Is it dumb to do legs once a week and hit push pull then arms repeat the other 6 days as a 185 natty 11months in. Im not planning to compete and had legs alot more developed than my upper body to start out
Train legs twice a week while giving them a long rest in between. I have fantastic calf and quad genetics, that's all the more reason to train them more!
@@FeatherInABook as a newbie(barely 4 months in gym) a simple back, chest and shoulder, Arms and legs is fine? no?(I can't seem to do another day as i feel mentally tired)
@@swayam_arorayou don’t need as much volume as a newbie 4 months in you grow fast but you get more sore you don’t recover as fast yet, probably because it takes time to build the additional muscles gained in the newbie phase, are you doing 3 days a week or this split rest repeat?
Hard to track , difficult to progress, causes plenty of systemic fatigue for a single small muscle. Just doesn't make sense from bodybuilding perspective.
People want to just say you are on roids. Not realizing how much time you need to spend at the gym and actually challenge your muscles. I am 190lbs. 8% completely natural
Craziest split I’ve done is hitting the whole body is one day. Crazy man. Chest, arms, shoulders, legs, back all in one day. 10-20 sets per muscle group. I train 5 of these a week and bigger than most IFBB pros. I don’t compete because not worth getting naked on stage to be cheered on like a bunch of wild chimps in a zoo. I respect my body and only pose in the mirror while oiled up. I do have an OF spicy link if you want to see.
Don’t want to get cheered at for your physique while wearing underwear because you feel dehumanised but you’re okay with doing worse for OF? 😂 ain’t no one clicking that link bro, must be a horrible feeling to resort to that but no one wants to see it
Crushing it on UA-cam Jared! I look forward to your videos more than any other channel right now!
Yeah? Man. I appreciate that! I'll try to keep the content fresh
I love watching Jared Skywalker’s training; told my friends to subscribe and check out your videos 👍
I want the app. Please let people use paypal. I dont have a creditcard. Greets from The Netherlands.
Same
I like his unique training spilt
It would be cool to see the split on the hypertrophy app templates. I love the Jared’s Favorite one
Thanks for guiding us through the app. It’s helpful information.

wait, shoulders are limbs?
It'll be nice to see a summary at the end of the workout of how many sets you did, total volume, and rep ranges

Load on the bar causes way more fatigue

Do you ever deload and if you do how often do you do it? I've never seen you deload on the channel except right before a show.
Can you put a link to the app you’re talking about please

I'd love to see a dedicated video to your whole block.
Bro broke the smith machine with his back!!! lol
Also how do you like standing leg curl?
Bloodstorm Jerry, Slayer of Steel and Death. How do you get past the RPE 10, deep burning pain when doing heavy leg press and squats when the H+ ions build up too fast, even at 8RIR? Break up my sets?
Push through
i train hamstring together with back and shoulders so i have to do quads and biceps on the next day so this sounds pretty normal
can someone breakdown the whole session ?
I do Chest and Hamstrings and Back and Quads cuz chest hamstrings take me 3-4days to recover and Quads and Back 2-3days . Shoulder and arms too🫡🫡
Lookin thicc Jared!!! 💪💪
Hey Jared, I noticed you did squats in Smith machine in which upper part of rails is not fixed, so bar moves back and forward a bit during squatting, I have the same Smith in my gym. Maybe you know why did they design it like this?

I love the app! It’s amazing. It’s like having a great personal trainer in your pocket for a lot less money. 🎉😊
It really is!
jared reminds me of channing tatum and i don’t know why
Great content and great physique man! How tall are you?
Where to put shoulders in training is definetily the hardest muscle to incorporate in the best training split
I do lateral delts 4x a weeek after the larger muscles
Man, what exercise was the girl next to you doing, the reverse leg press? 23:05
Reverse glute press/frog pumps
How’s the eye ball doing
What's in the carb bottle?
Probably carbs.
@@PersonManGuyDudenah i think it’s carbs

if you can recover and/or if you want to bring up your legs, go for it
I’ve often wondered why bodybuilders don’t promote weighted rucking or treadmill workouts for calves. Wearing a vest while hiking stimulates mine.
Hard to track , difficult to progress, causes plenty of systemic fatigue for a single small muscle. Just doesn't make sense from bodybuilding perspective.
It’s just not effective for the time or the fatigue
Jeez how come Jared is bigger and stronger than me :(
steroids?
Lets go🇵🇭
