I have the 90 hp car for three years now. I am still in love with this car, I don’t know why. My previous car was polo, and for some reason I like the swift a lot more.
Realistic test drive, makes it easyer for me to choose for this car. Thanks Joe. Much better than from magazines that only drive on "super" roads and test in ideal situations.
@@JoeBlack9 Maybe it is or not. It's small engine with high pressure. It's using GDI tech so meaning trouble for the long run. as long you dont take the sport version. It has small engine with gdi and turbo. way to much stress on small engine. if you do it anyway look up ''gdi maintenance''

Hey you are utterly wrong about it this 1.2 dualjet is not GDI it is indirect multipoint. On top of that 1.4 Suzuki swift sport is GDI but rather modestly tuned compared to other brands GDIs. It lacks egr and doesnt have gasoline particulate filter so it cant produce as much soot as other gdi do.
I have1.2 hybrid (61kw 83hp) GL+ for almost 2 weeks now, and I'm thrilled, just enough for girl. After 18 years of driving Corsa diesel this car is airplane.
Does anyone doubt that 84hp is a problem while driving uphill? I’m considering buying it but not sure if the engine power would be a problem in the future. The previous model in Taiwan has 110hp with turbo engine. It’s now only 84hp with a 12v motor which is brand new model that I can get no thoughts from local drivers. Hopefully, anyone who had tested it could share some info or thoughts with me, plz!
I have the 1.2 dualjet 89bhp, I have currently own the car just over 2 years now, and done just over 22k miles in it, its a very light car and is okay going uphill once you've planned the right gear and committed to the hill, but what I can say is if you have a few large passengers and a boot full of luggage, it does struggle but I think that goes for most small engine cars, would benefit a lot with a turbo so if you could get the 1litre turbo or 1.4 litre turbo that would be a better option, just gives it that bit more of a punch uphill apart from that, if you live in an area where its mostly flat or don't carry much weight, its a brilliant car that can put a smile on your face in the corners very easy to throw in and predict, could do with the streering wheel being abit heavier of a feel but can't expect much from a little city car, if anyone has any qutions they'd like to ask or unsure of anything ill be more than happy to answer.
Because 1.2 version is the lowest spec of them all. Suzuki swift has 3 engine Lowest spec 1.2 litres 88HP Medium spec 1.0 turbo litres 98 HP High spec 1.4 turbo 139 HP High spec 1.4 turbo 2020 and upward 129HP
@@petrosathanasiou6304 You are plain wrong. They may have similar volume but the tech used is completely different. The engine of suzuki is in my opinion technically superior to i20. It operates with extremely high compression ratio i think 13:1 and it has 2 injectors per cylinder so it has exceptionally good fuel consumption.
Love this car!!! I have driven the 1.4 booster jet and its one of the most adictive small cars of all the times....good test Joe!!!!

The reason is simply because the polo is boring car for old people
