At 70 mph it revs about 3000 rpm, noise level is acceptable for small car segment and mpg is still very good it is a very light car so its 66 kw pull more than you would expect. Only downside is that because of its low fuel consumption it takes a bit longer to warm up the engine and the cabin than I was used to from other cars. Now in winter it is quite noticeable. Too bad they didnt already integrated water cooled exhaust headers in 2017 version like they did in 2021 version. So if your trip is just 15 mins at 70 mph and you live in very cold region I would pick 2021 model. But still, I consider it exceptional engine.
@@jancervinka7424 So after 2021 the 1.2 liter is now coming with water cooled exhaust ? :o I did try the 2018 model, and also found that it took alittle long to heat up
Yaris i would say interior quality, safety and fuel consumption wise but it is also much more expensive. But space for driver and back seat space may be marginally better in swift.
Swift is largely different than Yaris in interior space. I'm 188cm and i can sit more than comfortably at the back seat behind driver's (mine) seat. The difference rather noticable. Check it. Consumption wise not that much if you drive carefully. And smart. So yes the real difference is in the quality which is also noticably in favor of the Yaris. It is in another class. Swift is made cheap. And it feels and it looks.
Totally different prices but I actually think the Suzuki interior quality is far better than the overpriced Yaris, which is very nasty interior for the money. Its okay but not when its over 20k in UK. The previous Yaris had nicer interior. No idea what Toyota are doing. Im guessing they spent all the money on engine and fancy drivetrain.
My Nissan K14 1.0 IG T 101PS displays some 203 when going downhill like here. By the way, it's a questionable habit to follow the Rechtsfahrgebot when speeding, why get close to trucks which can change lane any second, when there is no car behind you anyway?
that's called " parallax". Angle of the camera is not directly in front of thermostat needle, so it looks strange. But in reality when looking frontal towards needle, the temperature is fine.
What I find weird is that I have the 2020 model as well but mine has 90hp from the factory (tuned it to 101) Why is it saying 81hp on here? Other hp calculation maybe?
Me too!! I realised that they had that engine and 1.0T only 1 year in their offer. Now its only 1.2 atmosphere with 83hp (both hybrid). I hope we got lucky bro😅
it gathers energy when rolling/breaking, gives energy (to a small electric motor) when accelerating. It has nothing to do with manual or automatic transmission.
The K12c is a bit faster. It also has about the same amount of torque at 2800 rpm as the K12d does. This is simply a promotion trick by Suzuki. The full 120nm torque is available at 4400 rpm on the K12c though. The K12d also has less displacement (below 1200ccm) simply do to tax reasons in some Asian Countries (I think India for one). I believe it is based on the K12M / K12N.
Etwas "Flotter" als meine B-Klasse mit ebenfalls 4 Zylindern und trotz 1,7 L und 116 PS ohne Turbo... Aber mein Auto ist auch ca. 400 Kilo schwerer...Lol!
This small atmospheric engine is really good , and 4 cylinder !!!
i'm take the classic version form 2018 1.2 90hp less than 850kg !
3:57 top speed
For This car with motor of 1.2 petrol 80cv, is not bad at all!!
Yes, but only for the city driving. Very bad for the highway, nosy with 5 speed.
At 130 is it noisy?
its not, at 120-130 it is pleasant for the ear
Nice video and a lil reliable car !
Keep up the good work!
Not bad at all, considering it's one of the most economic cars for daily use.
10 km/l
4-5 if you drive constantly around 4000 rpm

Would this car be suitable for daily 70mph driving ? Only for 15 mins at most at a time..
Looking at getting a 2018 duel jet

I have 2021 Suzuki Allgrip hybrid, with 1.2 dual jet and it will comfortably do up to 80 mph. It is an amazing little car.

Suzuki swift or Mazda 2?
Ι drive both, but swift is top
How does it feel compared to a ford fiesta?
Fiesta too common, Suzuki more reliable as well
Me la sto facendo sotto solo a guardare 👀
Das war noch ein Motor damals im Vergleich zu dem heute im neuen Swift verbauten 3 Zylinder motörchen.
Merci, pour le test.

Swift has a bad (toooo soft!) paintwork. So you see the smallest rockfalls very fast.

The (new) Yaris Hybrid doesn't have a manual. I think that's the biggest difference
Top motor 4 cyl, no turbo, and chain
I think it is turbocharged...not naturally aspirated
@@darwyin the turbo charged one can get to 220 k/m

It's the law and I'm really glad to see someone follow them even when trying out top speed and posting it online.
Great vidéo ? What fuel did you use 95 or 98 ? ⛽🚗🏁
super+ that`s 98 in holland.
Is there a difference between the Suzuki Soft and the Suzuki Desire in the power of the motor 2021
Yes, Suzuki Desire is a little harder

New engine because of European new strict emission rule, since summer 2020 new engine. Before was 90 ps
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK well lucky me I got it in July just before then. It's weird though cuz on the dutch Suzuki website it still advertises 66kw (90hp)

1.)This car manuel or automatic ? 2.) Polo 1.0tsi vs swift ?
Polo with tsi engine is much more expensive, for that price you can get the Swift Sport 1.4T.

The last one with k12d has 7 hp less and +40 kg. weight, so is slower cause worst weight / hp ratio.
