How I get customers for $0 with Product Hunt
I launched 20+ startups on Product Hunt.
At first, no one would notice... But I kept repeating and learning.
In 2 years, I drove 100,000+ visitors to my websites thanks to Product Hunt. I earned 14 product badges and got the Maker of the Year 2023 Award.
Here's how to use Product Hunt to grow your SaaS, AI tool, or any digital product.

Переглядів 18 тис.14 днів тому
🧑💻 ALL the code: github.com/marclou/stripe-sub Stripe subscriptions are a pain (API, webhook, lifecycle...). But there's an easy way. And it requires a few dozen lines of code! We'll build a monthly/yearly pricing table for a SaaS, and let customers subscribe and handle their subscriptions. The tech stack: - React - Tailwind - NextJS (API endpoint for the webhook) - Stripe Payment Link - Strip...

After being fired in November 2021 (software engineer), I built websites every day for 900 days. I struggled and wanted to give up multiple times, but luck found me somehow. After building 23 tiny internet businesses (micro SaaS, AI tools, trackers) I'm financially independent ($121K/month). And I still code daily 😁 Here are my 3 productivity hacks. 🔗 All my startups - www.marclou.com ⚡️ Ship y...

great content
I want to speak you
Your videos are so transparent. Simply great!!
Very nice video man. Learnt a lot
It is my belief that individuals of French nationality afflicted with yellow fever present significant challenges
I understand the logic behind mistake #1 about the free plan, but the example of free vs paid didn't add up for me. Am I wrong ? or am I missing something ? or perhaps just nit picky. Free plan vs 10$/month plan example: Core variables: New visitors per month: 10,000 Conversion rate to paid plan: 3% The example: 1st month: 10,000 * 3% = 3,000$ 2nd month: 10,000 * 3% = 3,000$ + 3,000$ (from existing users) = 6,000$ 3nd month: 10,000 * 3% = 3,000$ + 6,000$ (from existing users) = 9,000$ etc... (And of course I'm leaving out people that cancel and maintenance cost out of the example)
And btw really like your video man very interesting advice.
Real question: is it possible to launch a successfull product if you dont use twitter, are not part of some online community, don't have an audience these days? I like building stuff but really hate social media and having to grow an "online presence"...
What are you using to handle user auth? It looked like you were suggesting mailgun, but I think I’m confused. Thanks.
NextAuth, forgot it
This is amazing, you’ve done what I’ve always wanted to do
How do you operate the legal part of the process, do you have a lawyer or someone taking care of it?
Well done! 👏🏾
That is so fcking cool man T^T I wish to be so productive !
Sorry my french ! Tu parles français ? :)
Excellent video.
Bro, you are smart. Come on now.
the editing is good to me
Hey Mark! I’m a little stuck on product hunt, I was wondering if there was some way I could get in touch with you and get advice for my launch😅. My product is called WebBuilders(On Product Hunt)…

Great video, thank you for sharing it. The projects look professional and it is hard to believe that all of tham have been made by a single developer.
Really productive

It was helpful. Thanks Marc
The Zenvoice idea is actually genius, great product!
I use bare React with Supabase for the backend and that's it, stop learning and start doing ...
have you made money doing webdev tho ?
Great video, but developer in me is screaming please test your code 😊
thank you for sharing, I found your channel like 4 videos ago and you have a great way of sharing your stories
Tu utilises quel api pour les livraisons? Si tu as déjà eu l'occasion de faire un système de livraison en France
can we create these kind of web apps on webflow and framer? or do I need to learn the coding part?
what framework did you use for the front end?
Wisdom!
you are crazy man! love it. how do you sell your businesses ?
I love your content!
LOVE THIS. Happy to see that our tech stack is almost identical haha Actually, it was your blog post that convinced me to take another look into MongoDB, which im glad you shared because I found it aligns much better with the apps I am building and now im moving at an insane pace using it :)
No hate but the fact that your product that sells the most is the product that teaches you how to sell... lol. You're no different from course gurus, making more money selling courses than actually selling products. Again no hate but that tells me all I need to know.
