This was very concise and serves as a great starting point for someone like me who is fairly knowledgeable with fighting game theory and has tried many different games but never stuck to one. I would like to see more content like this especially since Rising was announced!
I just picked up the game. The first character that caught my attention was Narmaya, and I love changing the stance. I already completed the challenge combo, so I need more juice to be able to go online. Thank you for the small guide
Great video! In the future, if you include combos within the guide, could you also add notations either in the video or within the description? Would help returning players like me a ton.
Thanks! The objective of the video was the absolute 101 for the newest players so even if I showed combos I didn't want to muddle things up with notations. However I'm totally down to make a basic combo video down the line, I also have a few other ideas, and Frosty Faustings is coming up so I'll be pretty busy for a while.
Great starting guide! can you make a more intermediate or deeper one? please? got back at playing granblue due to rising announcement but since i couldn't properly get into the og game due to shitty netcode and lack of locals i have zero knowledge in proper match ups and tech.
At 3:28, is there a way to get the (G) 236H~U > j.U to consistently hit? like 10% of the time I get the j.U whiffing. Also are there situations where you'd rather do a combo with j.U > j.214H instead of just plain old TK j.214H?
Try and do the 5H 236H as early as possible so they are higher in the air making the juggle easier. You want to do j.U 214 H because it's more damage, and your cooldowns will have more time to recycle. I'll normally opt for going straight into j.S+H after 236H because it's easier and more consistent.
As someone who's only played a bit of someone else's copy of GBVS, I probably wouldn't bother with GBVS Rising without Narmaya being a character. I love how she looks and plays, and now that I know crossplay and rollback are coming I'm almost feeling impatient enough to buy the game before Rising releases.
If your trying to be financially responsible I would wait until we find out how the distribution of Rising will be handled. If there's a discount in owning the base game then I'd definitely consider getting it, otherwise if it's going to be brand new then I'd reconsider.
Same. I never played GBVS due to lack of rollback, but I always had Narmaya pinned as my favourite of the roster. I love katana characters, especially if they use iaijutsu. With Rising getting not just rollback but crossplay, it's the perfect opportunity to jump in. Although, there's so many games I want coming out this year.
I thought it was going to be 4 minutes of using far 5m
Brb taking down video and updating.

I'll have more but other players in the community are stepping up so be on the lookout!
@@MrQuotes I will 🙏
Can confirm Quotes is the Narmaya guy! Ended my EVO run. 😂
Great video! Thank you for the easy to digest yet solid information!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, even as a Naru main it is always good to remember the basics
I've heard Narmaya mains are genuinely good people who spread love and warmth with every attack they
land on their opponent😄
Haven't played Narmaya in so long, gave up on her cause I wasn't good enough. This time around gonna be different, saving this vid for later.
I believe in you.
Interesting to see a guide like this

Been meaning to update my Narmaya combo video for a while now. Rush helps her f.M and f.H quite a bit
Finally an upload😂 Nar games for the old times?
The main reason I decided to pick her up is cause of her big t- I mean sword
it's so good to have a guide that's is not 30 min
oh and can you make one of yuel next?
(idk if you play the other characters)
Thanks! I'll give some thought on what's next when I get back from Frosty Faustings.
Great character, great video
One of her attacks is called Kyoka Suigetsu?
_Aizen laughs in the distance_
Admiration is the furthest thing from understanding.
Maybe a typical thing on katana user

Thanks for the kind words! I have a small project in the pipeline and then when I get back from Frosty Faustings I'll see where I go from there.
Would love to see more detailed combos
👀
👍
Oh hey. It's been a few years.
this video got me to start playing this game (even though i fucked myself over picking one of the hardest characters)
Is that Narmaya costume in the PS store?
It was only available for people who entered the online tournaments series, though there's a chance they put it in Rising.
Belial next
👀
I wish this game get exported to switch

Arksys really is pumping out bangers. Too bad strive is dogshit
I'm sorry, I really like Strive! 🤐
Oh, this is a guide to using Narmaya. Okay. I clicked because I thought it was a guide on how to get into her pants.😅
