I don't normally comment on any videos on UA-cam but really wanted to congratulate you for the way you handled this topic as a GP doctor from Leeds. You pitched it perfectly well, didn't dismiss it as something you can 'man up' and get over, or make it an emotional tsunami as if it's an insurmountable task. Great attitude, great mindset, peaks and troughs, moments of flare ups with anxiety, leading to poor habits. Have the insight to recognise it and then go again. Bravo.

Intermittent fasting 🤷🏻‍♂️. Well if it works for ya it works for ya. Might I toss in a recommendation to get my fricken cook book 😉. Rather than do 45 minutes of the assault bike you’d rather walk three hours. That is a lot of cardio and in fact more cardio than you need in either case 150 minutes of cardio a week if you can’t get in shape from doing that it’s because your diet isn’t the diet you need to follow you need to have low calorie dense foods that fill you up the keep you satisfied. You can give intermittent fasting a try but it’s really not the secret you said you don’t want to Try and fad diet’s and all this gimmicky stuff but I’m gonna be honest and tell you that intermittent fasting is one of those gimmicky fad diet’s. And you said you don’t like cardio yet you’re Saying that you like boxing. You need to understand any form of movement or cardiovascular activity that raises your heart rate is cardio cardio comes from cardiovascular meaning using your heart. 4 meals a day and a snack if needed is all u need.

Agree with everything apart from ye olde myth "Muscle is heavier than Fat " 16:44 simply not true. Muscle is DENSER than fat, therefore it takes up less space in your body, but logically 5kg of Muscle weighs the same as 5kg of Fat. The muscle will just be fairly smaller (google it)

I was 82kg with size and lean, I’m now 95kg with no size...
A lot of what you said rang true for me too, I got to that point of where you recognise “you need to do something about this” last autumn. I’ve done physio etc for my Qashqai injuries and was done in with not having gyms open... Bought 150kg of sand, some heavy duty rubble bags and gorilla tape 😄😄 Been getting a starting base ready for 12th April!

    Hi Daniel,
Honestly mate you’re worrying about absolutely nothing and I know it’s hard to hear that. Your body for starters is perfect underneath the fat you have the shape that most guys want. Losing weight will be a straight forward path for you as you don’t have to worry too much about genetics and structure working against you. When in actual fact it’s working in your favour. So keep pushing lay off the snacks. If you can’t they’re plenty of snacks out there that barely have no calories in them. They work as a appetite depressant. If you comfort eat almond nuts are great for filling your stomach without add fat.

Some lower body training (aka legs, specifically upper legs) goes a long way !
I know training legs can be 💀 but just know that training legs are a MAJOR key (around 70%) in Testosterone production !
    P.S.
Despite your injuries I think all of us reallyyy wanna see a freakish @Ashville 👀

Thankyou for this. I woke up yesterday and saw my belly. My son saw it and said. You have a jelly belly daddy, now I have no choice to get to the gym and work out. My problem is I have loose joints on my left side of my body. Has anyone got any tips for me please. Thankyou and have a amazing Easter weekend.

Skipping rope. Keeps u nimble, portable, use at anytime, strengthens back, core, whole body. Will perk you up when tired. Lymphatic system will be energised, you can still lift and keep a boxers agility. Gradually move up with time and pace. Just a thought..

Hello brother, U mispronounced ghee. It's not jee it's ghee. Just UA-cam it and don't mix it with coffee. U can apply it on bread.

I also started intermittent fasting after studying this thing properly. As far as i understood it - during the 16 hour fasting window you should not consume any calories. While black coffee in itself has 0 calories, I am not sure that MCT oil and Ghee have zero calories. So effectively the fasting is broken. Or am I missing something?
