The last couple of minutes of this video made my heart flutter like a thirteen year old girl reading the romantic bits of twilight in 2009 while the down-to-earth authority figure in the back of my mind was screaming "HE'S BEING MANIPULATIVE!!! DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!" at me on loop, so I'd say you really nailed DIO's charisma on the head in this one!
I'm not attracted to men, nor did I engage in anything related to twilight growing up, but damn, for a second, I was in a world where I felt like I might have been. Great preformance, stanpai!
I think part of the added appeal is that this video in particular feels like DIO is sharing some complicated and even private thoughts with the listeners. There's a certain degree of Intimacy to that and to DIO'S actions in general that raise the flags of manipulation in our heads for those of us who know better... But just BARELY. You would honestly think by the way he talks to us that he's known us for a while and we COULD be considered his friend (like Pucci) or at the very least, his protege.
That and thus so far, we haven't really had a sample of his rage yet or the overt Darkness of DIO quite yet so one could say, DIO is still in the Honeymoon phase of his manipulations of the listeners. It's why he's so both soothing, calm and even sweet to some extent.
Scary... But utterly enthralling.

You know, as someone who loves DIO more than any human being should, I've gotta say you did fantastic as usual but definitely *nailed* this. The wording towards the end really gave me the fearful comfort that DIO uses to manipulate people into becoming his followers. Had a feeling in my gut the whole time. Keep up the great work, Stanpai. Looking forward to what else you put on the table, DIO or not.

Saying this as someone who fell harder for Dio than anyone should for someone so...well, you know...you absolutely KILLED his charisma in this. All of your ASMRs actually, but this especially. Even KNOWING that Dio is manipulating the listeners, I still hang onto every word, and the first time I watched this, I was beaming the entire time. Thank you for posting these, they really do make me feel better when I'm down. You're a great voice actor! ^^
