Ordered the game! Looks like a fun open-world sandbox game of sailing, trading, and pirating! I was worried at first about the learning curve for the rules, but overall, the rules appear straightforward and neatly laid out. Great how-to-play video!

Just basic colored glass beads really. I’ve heard them called Dragon Tears. If you get the M&M expansion, there are official tokens that do the same job.
Carlos Ancinez The pirate controller can choose flee as their declaration once their cannons or crew is lower than the opponent’s ship, but that controller may try to board instead (hoping to survive your shoot action).
There are several instructional videos as the one you describe posted already. Unfortunately Rodney Smith hasn’t done one yet or it might be exactly what you’re looking for. Though there is a Tom Vassel overview that’s very straightforward. Our presentation isn’t for everyone, but we never wanted to be just another review channel.

Way too complicated and distracting. You are focussing too much on yourselves. I want to see the board and gameplay, not your acting!!
