I know of a preacher who.said Elvis gave a clear testimony of salvation.
this was 6 weeks before Elvis died, he sang this song so powerfully, so emotionally when he should've been in hospital for various illnesses. Thats a man and a half, no other human could've done it better. RIP 44yrs

He needed a colon surgery but he refused and that is why he died his heart was under pressure from constipation and pills
elvis left the building ..for the last time but he write last song in our hearts ..what my surprise that the last song he sang : How Great Thou Art he seem very tired in face but he found the last energy and power voice ..elvis started child whit a gospel song end he finish whit the gospel song too whit a prayer and the circle was closed..
And here is a guy - who for all practical purposes is dying as he belts out this gospel song, and he still pours his heart out like that. Elvis was one of a kind for sure.
I still get emotional watching this... He was a beautiful man..

This was just weeks before he died and they had him on so many drugs to keep him going he was like a caged animal but guess what, not only did he transcend, he asked his vocal backups to sing like a hardcore 10 second phrase at least at the end, amazing. And they were happy to do it for him cuz they loved him. Check that out at the end, how much they sustain those incredible vocals without taking a breath for so long. It was his last performance.

...more flowers were shipped to his funeral in Memphis than was EVER shipped on a single day in history....I've heard that the record still stands today! it is hard to watch but if you can react to Elvis singing 'long black limousine'...there is a version where he sings it while the video shows his funeral procession.
Forty four years later and we are still crying and missing Elvis Presley!

Amazing song and reaction. One of the best reactions. Subbed!! I agree with you. Elvis' live takes of this song were the best I have ever heard as well, but THIS VERY VERSION, his last was different. He cried out to his maker on that one and EVERY ONE in the building felt it, and and 44 years later we are STILL FEELING that epic high note and ending where he repeats in three times. THIS is the best version of the song, period.

When Elvis passed away, I was 14. It was like losing a extremely close family member. Even after all these years, it still effects me. We just didn't have him long enough. But I guess GOD thought it's time for Elvis to come home. When Elvis passed away, it was like losing my parents, especially my dad. 😭💔❤🌹🙏

Elvis is now Pastor Bob Joyce in Benton Arkansas. Pastor Bob has a lot of youtube videos of him singing and preaching. The mafia put a hit out on Elvis because they found out he was a special agent working for the government so Elvis had to fake his death and go into witness protection.
