Great Video. But I am getting stuck at the point where we unlock the bootloader. I am fine until 6:45 but at that point (after clicking yes) nothing seems to happen. I have an identical screen as you do at 6:45 (where the fastboot screen says **LOCKED** on top) but upon selecting the .bin unlock file, the phones does not go to the black screen as yours does at 7:04 . What should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
When I fired up WinDroid Universal HTC Toolkit v1.2, it had me install the ADB drivers, then it came up with this error: A log file has been placed in the Logs folder within the Data folder. How do you work around that issue? I have the verizon M8 4.4.2

What is SuperSU for? I've heard the playstore doesn't allow you to download certain apps if it recognizes that you have SuperSU. I have S-Off and unlocked bootloader. I just want to convert my AT&T M8 into stock developer edition. What do I need to do?

i rooted my phone using a method from differnt site, www.theandroidsoul.com/root-new-htc-one-2014-m8/ , and i think something went wrong cuz when i turn my phone off n on it gets stuck in a boot loop, and the only thing i can do to fix it is factory reset my phone then it works again. but after installing my apps back on the phone when i turn it off it happens again. ive had to reset my phone 4 times now. is there something wrong w the bootloader? do i need to unroot & relock it? what do i do? PLEASE HELP!!

I swapped my micro usb cable and reran getting the token to get back into the bootloader but to no avail. WinDroid 2.0 reads the status of my phone fine whether its unplugged, plugged or in fastboot. No clue? Update* After going back to use the original 1.2 Windroid since I got the drivers and recovery downloaded from 2.0, with the same process still cant manage to unlock the device. I'm about to give up, any suggestions? Phone has HBOOT 3.19 running 4.4.4. Update** I continue the process in my command promp and get this error C:\..\.\\\...\\..somewhere where fastboot and Unlock_code.bin is\fastboot flash Unlock_code.bin unknown partition 'Unlock_code.bin' error: cannot determine image filename for 'Unlock_code.bin' Its a recognized fastboot device too? Wtf htc I really just got to post this on xda
You should give credit to the guy who wrote this software, and link to the XDA site for downloading the file. Storing it on your own pastebin, and not referencing the developer, is not only shady as hell, it's also plagiarism, as he explicitly states that you must gain his permission and give credit to him.

No their wasn't any problems after. I ended up unlocking the bootloader by following the directions on the HTC website
