I’ll be doing another year of Project Skincare and Project Polish. I started doing the skincare one because I had all these nice products and wasn’t using them. It’s really for accountability. I don’t have massive amounts. I started the polish one because I have way too many! Through trial and error I found a formula that works for me. I choose five or six polishes and use them Jan- April the majority of the time. I do allow myself at any time to use any non- project polish. I feel just giving myself that option really helps me stay on track. It’s like forbidding yourself chocolate and then that’s all you want. I’ll pick new colors for May-Aug and then roll the polishes I used earlier in the year for September. For Oct and November, I’ll bring in a couple darker and richer autumnal colors. Of course, December is for holiday. I’m adding something new for next year. I picked two polishes that I plan to wear 12 times each. Ideally, I’ll use each polish once a month. Both of those polishes are rollovers from this year, so they have use. I’m hoping to finish one or two bottles. I don’t wear polish every single day. I look forward to following your 2025 journey! Happy New Year!! 🎉
You did it again this year! What an achievement, that's really amazing progress over the year. And it's been super informational with how you use the products in multiple ways. Thank you, and onwards to 2025!
Always impressed by your project pan finales. I did decent this year with primers, lippies, skincare, and body care but may need to hone in on some makeup this coming year.
I bought that massive pot of Laura Mercier powder (without trying first, everyone was raving about it) couple years ago and I used so little… I don’t even like it. It will take me 10 years to finish it 😩 nowadays I would buy travel size first and test product before going all in, because it takes absolutely ages to finish makeup.
I always fall off on the 4th quarter, but even attempting a project pan is progress. I don’t really wear makeup, but I have a ton of scents, lotions, face products. I finished about 25 super old items!
I collect beauty empties quarterly and try to fill up a tub. Haven't checked this ongoing quarter yet, but this year's makeup items alone will be 40+. I've definitely bought more than that! Face products, I normally own just 1 and use up before buying new (unless it's on sale). My best achievement is finishing 1 highlighter + 2 blushes + 5 shadows from the same palette! I probably could've finished 2 more, but have been playing with other palettes lately.
Kat, you look absolutely stunning in this colour and your makeup is chef’s kiss! I’m going to a Christmas party tonight, and while I can’t copy your clothes, I can definitely copy your makeup look. ❤😊
Great job. The pan of lost lipsticks indeed. I focused on usage goals this year to ensure that I rotated 0:06 through all of my makeup. I did finish 9 makeup products and declutterred 2.
I love your project pans Kat. I have been project panning for years and my favorite products to use up are face palettes, foundations, concealers, and lip liners. I'm going to try to pan some shades in my old Tarte blush bizarre palette in 2025 so I will watch some of your old videos as inspiration. I also have the ND Bloom palette that I would love to pan someday. This year I panned the Hourglass Ghost Face palette.
Congrats on the large number of pans! Big accomplishment 👏 Not too long ago this year, I hit pan on my first powder eyeshadow since my first few in the UD Naked 2 Basics back in high school. I don't count that since I was crazy heavy handed back then haha, and it was over 10 years ago. Plus, I used up a Bobbi Brown crushed lipstick for the second time, buying the same shade a third. Still using the lip brush for the rest lmao. Watching your updates is inspiring 💖
Congrats! My minimalism was going great (except for powder foundation hunt) but I've disgraced myself in such a spectacular fashion since October. I have makeup and skincare just sitting in 2 large boxes in my room right now (I've just overflowed from my bathroom) and I don't even know what I've got at this point. Bought the entire BK Beauty and Sigma line 'cos reasons. I must no buy in 2025 and probs will 'cos I own everything that interests me now. Will I buy an old janky NARS palette on Boxing Day? Probably. That's the line.
i really like your relaxed approach to panning and you’re right - there is this thin line between using the makeup you love and feeling guilty about not ALWAYS using project pan items. i like to have a general project pan, but do separate projects for eyeshadows. that way i get enough rotation and i switch products out if i feel like they don’t fit the season etc. 👍🏻 in 2025 i would really want a nail polish based project but i don’t really have a clear idea yet how to do it 😃
I really enjoy your PP videos, they are a favorite. I would not mind pared back, even just two products in a video. The video could be more about the different ways you paired them with other products, or a short of a look. My 2024 PP was a list I typed into Notes of things I finished, 24 makeup items. Or retired it if I didn't want to use up, or decluttered if it went bad (rare, like dried out eyeliner). So far, my biggest lesson is don't buy cream stick eyeshadows because they take me 2 years to use up 1. But I also learned my PP needs to include one-and-done single eyeshadow for quick makeup days. I am carrying over a blush/gloss pot duo by Trinny London, the gloss side is gone, and a cream eye duo from same that is half gone. Also a Surratt liquid blush with maybe a half dozen uses left. I go through lip products so fast it's not worth keeping track. In winter now, I am going heavy on the more oil-based makeup because it is dry and -20C tonight! Even though I am oily in summer, I need extra in winter. Carrying over Kosas Tinted Face oil, it seems close to done but still going. Carrying over Lys foundation, I don't know how I will use that up, but it's only 1/4 gone. 🎄🍷🌹
Oh! I project pan and will keep going next year. I like to pull products that are nearly done to have that feeling of accomplishment paired with my faves. I haven't done my year-end tally yet for 2024.
For a High Coverage Concealer I use L‘Oreal Infaillable More Than Concealer (doesn’t crease too bad on my 27 year old skin 😅) About that Glow Powder… all over Body Highlighter? 😅 Perfect for Twilight Vampire Cosplay
For concealer: have you tried the Nars radiant creamy concealer? Love that one coupled with the catrice true skin! Well done on the project pan this year!!❤ I've been slacking, but going full force next year!
I accidentally dropped my Giorgio Armani Liquid Silk Concealer in the bin when rushing to do my makeup about 3 weeks ago. I have the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush concealer and the Natasha Denona one, and yet I’m still really missing my Giorgio Armani one. It isn’t super full coverage, but gives medium coverage and more importantly, doesn’t collect in the fine lines I have under my eyes. I can use it either set with powder or without and either way wears beautifully all day. I miss it enough that I’m planning to buy a replacement as soon as it goes on sale on the Giorgio Armani website (or wherever else it might be on sale). My second favourite is the Hourglass one, but they are quite different products. It’s definitely more full coverage and a small amount goes a very long way. But it wears really well and looks beautiful without powder. Edit: I love your dress colour and lipstick colour, looks fab on you!
This year I had two eye surgeries, so my using of eyeshadow, liner, mascara, etc. was minimal. I hope to be able to wear more eye makeup next year so that's my goal. I did pan two blushes and made good progress on a bronzer though.
This year, I decided I would only buy a new lip product if I finished one I already had. Then for my birthday in November, there just happened to be a sale in Priceline and I bought eyeshadow palettes, two lipglosses and two lipsticks. 😮 Hey, it was my birthday! 😂😂
My project pan is for creamy products. i have left max 1 month in my fenty cream bronzer, a little bit more on Tower28 blush and rare beauty liquid blush. I'm exited to make room in my cabinet😅
I started using a face wash I didn't like as a shampoo to speed up my progress... and my scalp loved it so much that I might end up buying another tube. Wasn't this process supposed to balance out my add-to-cart addiction?! Why am I like this?! 😭

This is my SuperBowl!
🥰🥰🥰
Well done! 52 makeup products is a huge accomplishment!❤😊
The too faced born this way ethereal light concolor has become my go to this year. light but full coverage.
Kat, you look gorgeous in this video. That bright neon top and your makeup/lippie looks amazing on you. It's such a happy look.
She can pull it off but look under the chin. That's a strong green light
That lip goes so well with the dress. Spring / summer colours are your jam!

That lipstick on you!!! literally perfection, it looks so good!
I am so jealous of how gorgeous this lippie and dress color are on you! 😍 Your progress in this project is amazing!! 🎉🎉🎉

Well done on this finale I’m very impressed! The ND palette really impressive!
Always impressed by your project pan finales. I did decent this year with primers, lippies, skincare, and body care but may need to hone in on some makeup this coming year.
I am always so impressed with your project pan progress/results every year! Well done! 🎉 Happy holidays, Kat!
Thank you! Happy holidays too! ❤️

That Too Faced Peach palette had it coming 😂
Went straight in the bin before the camera turned off 🤣
Mac long pro concealer is the only one I have used for the last 4 years, I never needed one until then, I love it ❤
so proud of you Kat!!! Thank you for your dedication to the channel and this project this year!!!
I love your lipstick colour. You did great in your project.
I think it’d be great to see you review several concealers next year since so many new ones are out on the market these days
Well done. You inspire me.
AWESOME video ❤
I always fall off on the 4th quarter, but even attempting a project pan is progress. I don’t really wear makeup, but I have a ton of scents, lotions, face products. I finished about 25 super old items!
It is a big achievement finishing a bunch of products, whether make up or not ❤️

i love the dior forever concealer.
I love the refy concealer. I know Hannah Louise Poston loved the ND and now switched to the refy. I’ve never used the ND
Excellent effort x

Beautiful look today!

🎄🎅🎄TFS🎄🎅🎄 Merry Christmas to you and yours and a very Happy New Year! Let 2025 bring all the good things x
ArtDeco Concealer is good.
Fenty WE'RE EVEN HYDRATING LONGWEAR CONCEALER. It’s my favorite concealer of all time. I highly recommend.
Haley is also a fan of this concealer!
That and the Haus Labs one are on the top of my list ❤️
I really like the Haus labs concealer if you can get it in Australia

New Mac consealer!

I have used the NARS one, but it was back in the day haha. It was a bit creamy and not setting enough for me at the time, I am scared to take the risk

I heard the new guerlain terracotta concealer is very good
Reccommend dior forever concealer. Doesnt crease, lasts forever and can use as a foundation plus the tube is huge
Cheers!

Lancôme tient idol concealer is the best concealer ever
Project “where’d it go?” 😂
