toolbox definitely needs a rework and is extremely outdated but it can be used to balloon rescue if you are a smart player, ive done it a few times before. also snooze is quite good on her imo since she has a 10% slower takeoff and another + 10% if the chair had been brocken before, that way you can waste a lot of time on the chair
Randomly came back to this vid with more tips to add: - If you have time, break exit gate chairs (eg: teammate is decoding gate and hunter already knows where you are) - I like the 36 tip, you can use it on single-hit hunters to pull off detention rescues with your bubble, just do it if the hunter chose a chair near the gates though. - When you have the early game bubble and you are first kite, try not to get hit immediately and save it for the last seconds to transition, or just dont give the hunter the presence at all. - Also break chairs that are harder to rescue from so the hunter will be less likely to use them if you walk past any. - What some hunters will do when you rescue is immediately farm off the rescued, if you think that that will happen either make them think you are rescuing and pull back at the last seconds (theyll hit bubble or chair) or body block ( most of the time the Survivor exits the chair from the right side). - Also you can break the chairs next to where you are decoding so that the hunter is less likely to chair your teammate there if they happened to kite into you. Or if they do decide to drop the Survivor and fix the chair you can hide behind on object and recall, then break the chair (dont worry about getting TS but also pay attention to the hunters swings). Obviously if the hunter is smart theyll hear you recall and wont enter picking-up animation, it would be more helpful if your teammate had sticker and crawled away a considerable distance. - I usually carry either 36 or 39 on her since I kite like a Hound on steroids but i can explain the 39. If you want the 9 you will inevitably also pick up Muscle Memory which makes you vault faster. And Emma already gets a vaulting buff from being in some radius of a chair. And since they are basically everywhere, you can vault as fast as Merc haha. - Also speaking of personas, if you dont like snooze you can instead go for WTS (Will to survive) which makes you struggle faster. And also try out Sticker, I promise it just makes life 50% easier on any Survivor. I think if they wanted to buff Gardener, I'd suggest removing the sfx of her recall so balloon rescuing as her becomes a legitimate way of playing her instead of a risky strategy that can be easily prevented. Of course I'm not sure if that buff is too strong, but I feel like since her toolbox is ass they might just put all their money on the bubble so toolbox gets SOME sort of meaning lmaoo. I've mained Emma for around a year and 3/4 now and been 60th Emma before so I think my advice should hold some sort of relevance, even if very little.

i play gardener exclusively in duos because she’s just so silly and it’s not too hard to kite zero-presence hunters when you can take three hits
Sometimes toolbox comes in handy and helps ballon rescues but it can be useless so you just never know ;-;
