I LOVE your adorable, all natural body care tutorials!!! Just what this generation NEEDS. Safe, refreshing and wont cause cancer! :) Keep up the Awesome work!!
Gosh...You're too creative i swear. You come up with the craziest idea for DIY products which i didnt expect but i love them! It's so unique and cute! Thanks:)
@violetkiss Thanks for the request =) I had another lovely viewers ask about skin lightening and you gals gave me an idea to make new recipes for bath bombs coming up
@LisaLuvsMAC Borax is optional as a detergent but citric acid is what makes bath bombs fizzle when reacting with water. You can ask the pharmacy because they should carry citric acid. Big lots sell citric acid for canning and preserving. Also, can shop at soap making/craft store. Last solution is to order online or 1/2 cup cream of tartar without the preserving effect.
@firesuck9 Corn starch is more absorbent than talcum so you can try it but use more powder to tweak the recipe to use on yourself sometimes but not for children. The talc is considered to be of cosmetic grade is not broken down enough to be safe. These fine particles if inhaled can cause allergies and lung cancer.
@TheJorisSia Bath bombs are meant to take a bath in it. You run warm water to take a bath and drop one bath bomb in to release the skin softener to soak in for at least 20 minutes then a quick rinse to see how soft your skin is. It's like a mask for your body.
@lazyjayr I'm working on a fun project for another gift idea today... way excited and thank you! I'm so glad to share with you and the rest of the youtube world =)
@babynajat Epsom salt can be found at many grocery stores and you can always ask. You can order citric acid online or substitute with 1/2 cup of cream of tartar to fizz. It will not preserve your bath bomb like citric acid. I prefer citric acid for more fizz. I posted in the video you can use any oil for the skin like almond oil =) Witch hazel is an astringent and can be found at the first aid section or skin care as a toner. You can use water but you have to work fast so it does't fizzle.
@IMakeBoyzJizz Isn't it a great feeling to take the time to make gifts for our love ones? I'm thrilled your are making candles! Thank you so much for the message =)
@jamiemonroe30 Colorant will give a tint but it won't stain just like store bought bath bombs =) Just make sure to not over do the colorant unless you want a tub full of pink water or something hehe Kids would love that with bubbles. Thank so much for the amazing compliment =) I get exciting sharing my recipes and many more to come.
@cupcakesnbeauty You can ask the pharmacy at walmart if the carry citric acid. Sometimes it can be found in the cooking area since it's used to preserve food and drinks. I listed a few options in the info box of where you can look for it.
i love this soooo much- this is soooo helpful, this is so great for some of my friends whois never heard of bath bombs, thanks so much for making eo, im making it this weekend..oh, yeah, what can i put in there for scent.??
@lyttleravyn I studied pharmacy so I have an intro to making skincare products but you can always search online how to make certain things and visit the bookstore. I'm starting to learn how to make soap that I just posted.
@carriethediva I've been addicted to this OPI nail polish called Happy To Be Hippo =) Funny name for a soft lavender shade hehe I bought the mini OPI winter wonderland set at sephora.
@MrsPwnage10544 citric acid makes the bath bomb fizzle or it wouldn't be a bath bomb. witch hazel astringent evaporates quick compare to water so it doesn't fizzle too quick when mixing. You can use water but I suggest witch hazel because it is easy to make the citric acid fizzle when mixing. Sometimes you don't need witch hazel if you live in a high humid area that can moisten the mixture.
I'm planning on using this, and your lotion bars, bath melts, and body butter for a small spa kit for each of my friends, You have inspired me, Lisa! :)
@azeannful Thanks sweetie =) I make them all the time for personal use but it's fun to make them cute as gifts for friends and family. I have another DIY gift idea to look forward =)... way excited to see the results on the next one!
what the? seriously? more? GREAT I LOVE THIS STUFF LOL oh my gosh do more of these vids they're so good. im learning something.I really feel like im learning.
What a cute idea! Last year I made peppermint bark to give away as Christmas gifts, I think this year I'll try bath bombs! DIY gifts are the best in my opinion. ;)
this is a great video! my only suggestion would be that since the bath bombs will contain whole oats, it may clog the tub. so i would recommend wrapping it in a cheesecloth or inserting one in the good bag for the recipient to place it in there and let it soak. i used to work for Lush and this was recommended to all of our customers who ordered our bath bombs with floaty things in it. Merry Christmas!
@babynajat just use 1 drop of food coloring but there should be a water base one out there. Try not to dd too many colors if using food coloring because it can staining the tub =)
@Coralsilk I was planning to be a pharmacist but had a change of heart in my 2nd to last year in pharmacy school. I miss being creative as a kid so here working towards my dream to help others in the beauty world instead of a clinical or retail setting while being artistic at times=)
@babynajati t's easy and the only tricky part is being patient to blend the mixture to make a dry snowball. Add witch hazel or spray water a little at a time because humidity plays a big part in perfecting your bath bombs =) You will have a blast making them all cute and smelling yummy.
@222littledancer222 I listed everything thing in my info box=) Witch hazel is a natural toner/astringent that can be found at the skin care or first aid area at the store. It will moisten the mixture to slowly react with the citric acid to decrease fizzing.
Hello, This is a fabulous idea! Just in time to make for the holidays! You make it look fun and simple to do. I do have a question though...Where can I get the snowflake designed clear celaphane bags? I have looked everywhere online and in stores and can't find that particular design which is perfect for the holidays.
@eskimolipss I made them by printing some graphics on google image and folded the paper into an envelope =) I will post a video on some cute ways to personalize a gift.
@LisaLuvsMAC I think you got way excited and didn't look at all the ingredients in the video. I mentioned everything in the info box too =) I never mentioned borax because I was using it for cleaning purpose in the kitchen hehe. You can substitute citric aid for immediate use with cream or tartar.
@f12x90ash I have eczema and I learned how to make alka seltzer tablets in pharmacy labs that I developed my own bath bomb recipe because oatmeal is amazing for our skin in so many ways =)
WOW! So creative! I love all your DIYS! I bought some Citric Acid from a Pharmacy but it says on the back 'For cooking purposes only, keep away from eyes and skin' is it safe to use in a homemade bath bomb?
I really, really love your videos! They are so inspiring! I just have a question; how do you find out which ingredients to use? And the recipes? Do you find them in a book or do you come up with them yourself? Keep up the good work on this channel - it's my absolute favorite!
if using the oatmeal I suggest blitzing it in the food processor first. Oatmeal and hot water = porridge, and isn't the best thing for pipes. Or place the bomb in a muslin bag or an empty tea bag (sold in health food stores), the soluble ingredients disperse into the bath, but holds in the oats for easy disposal.
I can't express how talented and creative you are. I need to start finding my future goals and what I want to do as a career. School doesn't even prepare for me! eh.... I say anything related to skincare and beauty! Do you know any majors?
I LOVE your adorable, all natural body care tutorials!!! Just what this generation NEEDS. Safe, refreshing and wont cause cancer! :) Keep up the Awesome work!!
@annadiego I have to say this is I could in person. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my ideas from the beginning =)

@x3Danna it comes in powder to preserve and I suggest a few places in my info box

Aww thank you so much =)
I love this. My daughter has eczema, so this would be a perfect stocking stuffer! :)

It depends on how large are your molds. I made 6 large ones for this recipe.
@LavendarsBlu Good luck! Have fun making these!
@desserts00 it's a on my list to do=) catching ihabe so many things to do with oatmeal
Wonderful! Do you have any books or site you recommend to learn more about making your own skincare products?
I have those bowls haha. Can't wait to try this.
@MsBilliLilli thanks love! I 'm! working on my homemade skincare online store to launch next month =)
if using the oatmeal I suggest blitzing it in the food processor first. Oatmeal and hot water = porridge, and isn't the best thing for pipes. Or place the bomb in a muslin bag or an empty tea bag (sold in health food stores), the soluble ingredients disperse into the bath, but holds in the oats for easy disposal.
+J Luton Yeah, I was thinking maybe use oatmeal flour instead of whole oatmeal.
Thanks for sharing! So cute!
Yay!! Another great tutorial!!!!
What am amazing, brilliant IDEA WOW! you are the queen of creativeness!! :D
I can't express how talented and creative you are. I need to start finding my future goals and what I want to do as a career. School doesn't even prepare for me! eh.... I say anything related to skincare and beauty! Do you know any majors?
