Cute koalas. I hope you will visit them every now and then - these orphan koala grew up without their mother, among people - it may be difficult for them to suddenly find themselves far away from people and their help
This release is called a soft release which is enclosed by fencing where they can get some climbing practice and be monitored before going out into the wild.
I know you miss them what a wonderful job you guys are doing hopefully all three koalas 🐨 will live a long wonderful beautiful beautiful life i try to always ask ppl to donate to one of the organizations that take care and help koalas any amount helps

The situation in Australia is so bad these days with fires, deforestation, dogs and cars that I feel it would be best if some large sanctuaries could be set up where koalas and wombats could be released safely and have a chance to breed and build up a viable population. In fact if several such sanctuaries each with abundant eucalyptus groves could be set up there might be some hope for the little sweeties.

Koalas are animals that only live and survive in the wild. All 3 were released in the same area but Koalas are solitary animals so they only come together briefly to mate. Meggs is a mother now.
Meggs and Butters died recently. They died because of disease, not because they were put back in the wild. This is sad but : Meggs had a joey, called Keogh. Dimples and Butters also had a joey together, called Nexus. They knew the real koala life. All of this wouldn't happen if they were kept in enclosure.
