It makes me feel good that Cristine also has trouble with public speaking but still is a successful person. I always worry those anxieties will hold me back.
Thomas Jefferson had anxiety and he was a president so don't let it stop you from doing anything you want to!
I have to present in front of my coworkers & higher ups sometimes & I'm always nervous about it, but I get through it. I remind myself that I've done it before, that I'm prepared, & even though the worst case scenario is what makes me anxious I break that down rationally to remind myself that it's not as bad as I make it out to be. So if you wind up in a career where you have to go out of your comfort zone you can still do it as long as you come up with coping mechanisms - don't let that stop you if you really want that career
It's definitely something you should try to overcome though.

I think that Cristine gets an outlet to express both sides of herself and also not to be too stressed about losing either.
A lot of the people who do DIY, cooking, or reviewing stuff for their hobbies are also more grounded - as long as a channel isn't losing money they don't have to stress out. Whereas those who are only YT personalities have to worry about losing viewers and often try to top themselves, so you get your Logan Pauls.

@@lavishlylav5026 20 minutes is a long time for a presentation haha. My school's class presentations are only around 2-3 minutes so I can see why you were panicking.

imo i totally agree with samantha's ponit and understand that an actual youtuber's job may have their own teams and sets of coworkers and superiors similar to another job. i only intended to make a joke and did not mean to belittle the hard work youtubers put into theit content. I mean youtube is their day job. Alot of other big you tubers organise tours and have business and marketing ventures attached to their names. Granted entertainment isn't as merit driven as other professions but a job is a job. I always wonder why youtubers get shamed for their jobs more than mainstream entertainers who are doing the same thing.

@@californiacupcake8580 I have a Facebook blog that's got some of my story on it. In the bio or page discrption?? can't remember what part. It's badly needing updated and more of my story added. I'm actually in the very beginning process of writing a book so far it's just mapping stuff out. My biological dad died of HIV when I was 4 due to sharing needless. He was an ex heroin addict but got himself clean for his family so the HIV was just devastating. My human incubator (bio mum) and her scumbag of a boyfriend would abuse me physically and sexualy. A childminder and my human incubators mum reported them to social services and one day my nanna had me over night and I won't go into detail but after an incident with a lighter and my private parts my nana wouldn't return me to my human incubator so the police arrested her and she spent 6 hours in jail for trying to protect me. I was taken into care at 3.5 years old and when I was about 5 I asked my social worker if I could stop seeing my human incubator as she had supervised visitation but she kept trying to get me to tell them it was my biological dad abusing me which was incredibly distressing and her boyfriend who she later married almost kidnapped me while in foster care. I know it all sounds crazy but I have a copy of my adoption file which honestly is a pretty distressing read. I'm surprised with everything I've been through I'm not more messed up lol.
