6:05 mmm that wont happen this man still a long waays to go, remember these is pretty much Ys 3 now in chronology. time to go to celceta to have some Amnesia. then felgana, then kefin, then primordail islands, then canaan island, then altago to balduk
The runestone is supposed to be the answer to that. I want to believe that adol felt the most connection with karja out of all the girls he met in his journey. That is the power of being shield siblings. And they were together most of the time but in his other journeys it was either a party or he was alone. When you are a party you just don't have as much strong bond with two people than as a party.
It's insane where they hid this Who even thinks to head under the lighthouse into that old dungeon at that point in the story? . . . . . . But this is pretty interesting Originally I wasn't even sure it was Karja this is referring to But I suppose it makes sense It would fit Karja's talk about how she wants to inherit her mother's dream and find a place for the Normans And then Dogi's promise with her to be by Adol's side These factors fit well But it's also pretty damn ominous Especially since I can't imagine we'd get a game detailing the events of that era with a 60 year old Adol, we might never learn what actually goes down here
Indeed, I didn't head under the lighthouse during the first playthrough (didn't even go to the lighthouse since the game literally tells us that we have talked to everyone). Only when I was trying to see if there's anything more second time round that I decided to explore the lighthouse. Somehow, the content hidden in that rune stone does impact the way I feel about the ending, in a good way. It also mean that Adol didn't visit Karja again all these years?
@@rpgaming8928 To be honest I didn't expect him to visit at all I know Karja tells him that they're shield siblings(or whatever the translation will eventually call them) all the way to the end and asks him to visit sometime, but there's this air of finality about that last scene, just like there always is with the end of an Ys game I always imagined that Adol would just keep on moving ahead, going to all sorts of different places over his life, making new friends along the way, but never ending up actually going back to visit any of them
But now this suggests that around the time of his supposed death (since he is supposed to have died at 63) he got involved with Karja once again And perhaps this is why he attempted to get to the North Pole (but supposedly failed), seeing as the scenery of the runestone looks like a layer of ice with icebergs or snowy mountains around
Now I have not seen the original Japanese manual of Ys I, only translations, so I don't know how clear it is about this, but what if he actually made it to the North Pole? What if he had one final adventure with Karja? That could make for one hell of a game eventually While I do realize the odds of this happening are very low, I want to believe that Falcom put this particular runestone with some sort of story meaning in mind
A Clue to what happened to Adol and Karja. Disappearing in the North Pole like that speaks volumes of it being a supernatural occurrence. After seeing the things Adol gets into without even trying, I'm no stranger to assume that something had happened up North. More questions than answers.
Is that why gunnar was staring at lighthouse. Gunnar stare at lighthouse was so freaking suspicious.
NGL Old man Adol have cool voice
Bryce did a good job with that
Okay i finally get it lets goo. It could be like a sequel to ys x just like how ys origins was prequel to ys. YS fin. Some cool name like that.

i did go to the lighthouse again but since there's no enemies or anything i just went back lmao
@@di-gun5791 It's easy to miss it :)
Where did you find out Adol dies at 63? I can't believe I missed that.@@AceWing905
I cant go anywhere during the epilogue. The game locked me in Carnac
You must have missed so side quest then, you should have been able to go to the light house outside of Carnac if you did everything
