Yes Sir I'm about to do a older Suzuki outboard 2 HP buddy gave me he didn't know what Kind it was missing top cover few other pieces nothing real major except the clamp part mouts to boat. Try rig up something putting on kayak if it runs. He said they took points condenser out put electric ignition in but didn't know if it ran. Im either going get it going or put a shindawha two stroker smoker choker on it. Because it will throw big ole rocks out of site on the weed eaters. Think there 230 & 231 other buddy gave me them month ago couldn't get um running. One needed carb cleaned other somehow they smashed the metal strap air cleaner bolt goes on against the mouth carb. Both run strong just old. But free really not to bad looking or wore out. Then my last option go electric got few 60 v DeWalt batteries and couple motors out of 60v tools so not sure. Great video .
Sweet! Those 2hp engines are sweet little units, would be perfect for a kayak. A buddy has one on an 8' Boston Whaler for his kid and he's as happy as a clam putting around the marina. You could probably fab something up really easy to adapt a weed eater to it...that would be a sweet project. I always wanted to do something like that with a chainsaw when I was a kid. Ended up with an ebay Minn-Kota and a car battery instead.
