I had to watch it twice that beautiful Airbus A330 reverse thrust 😮😮😮
That was a capture of the day for me. Airbus A380 landed earlier and did not made the same spray as this A330 on the video.
The A330 touchdown looked pretty long down the runway. Pilots probably realized they needed max reverse thrust throughout most of the landing rollout. Any longer on the touch down and I would have gone around.

These are some great, clear videos from a cool perspective but where are the “epic skills”? These are just normal landings on a wet runway with the thrust reversers throwing up a bunch of water. Title is a bit misleading.

It's important to note that landing on extremely slippery or flooded runways may be beyond the capabilities of regular commercial aircraft. In such cases, pilots may divert to alternative airports with suitable conditions or wait until the runway conditions improve before attempting a landing.

@@topfelya Thank you for the explanation how to do a crosswind landing on wet runway after 37 years in aviation! I haven't had special training on this. It is a job to bring the pax and the aircraft from A to B and not an epic skill.
