Porque le cuesta a mi moto duke 125 pillar la velocidad. Tengo puesto el escape original akrapovic pero le cuesta mucho coger la velocidad alguien sabe porque como podría aumentarla me pilla 108 kilómetros
these look like absolute gems to ride except by the time i become 17 im afraid the new models will still be too expensive so everyone pray for the price to come down for 2nd owners lol
If it's still too expensive, look at a cheaper 2nd hand bike. Maybe the first generation duke? Not much has changed except the looks. You shouldn't spend too much money on a 125, since you'll probably get rid of it in 2 years.
i was thinking the first gen but idk what it is like i have rode one of my friends and they just dont feel right to a new one if you get me, ill probs end up with a varadero or an RC because as you said ill be on my A2 licence after that basically
Hussrocks2987 I have definitely been there! I’ve been riding dirtbikes sine I was 9 but I still wanted to go out on public roads so bad! Don’t think of it too much and enjoy your teenage years, you’ll be 17 before you know it. There’s a lot of times that I wish I was 12 again, I could just sit on the couch and game a lot! I didn’t have too much responsibilities. Mom washed my clothes and food was always just there. Enjoy it while it lasts, you’ll miss these times later in life!
@@guhans18 Bhai itni small cc bike for more than 1.5 lakhs is a waste. For that money you ll get a more practical wali machine. Better go for the 200 or the 250 Duke because when the 125 cc comes... It's not going to come with the display or the styling that you see in this video.
Axe991 nice i got myself a moped too when i was 14, drove it until this april because a truck drove into me from the side. im ok but not the moped. im 16 rn and i just signed up to get the a1 license :)
I'm very sorry to hear that... Just last month (june 28) some guy didn't stop at a stop sign and hit me on the side of my brand new Monster 1200. I broke my foot and a friend I had on the bike got 30 stitches. I don't know the condition of the bike because it's evidence in the trial against him.
After the video was made, the owner of the bike modified the stock exhaust and removed the db killer. It's an easy and neat work and the sound greatly improves. If you want greater performance you can change all the exhaust system and the ecu to gain around 5-6 hp.
I think it’s best if you buy the version available in your country. You would pay an incredible amount of import taxes I think. The 125 is EU specific because in some countries you can ride a 125 when you’re 16
Hey great driving! Have you ridden any of its rivals (Yamaha mt125, cb125r...) and if yes, how does this compare in terms of fun? Also, are the seats comfortable enough for long journeys in the duke? Thanks!
Hi! I have not ridden any other 125 in the last few years, so I cannot help you on a comparison. What I can tell you is that it's a very easy and fun bike, with a fantastic chassis even when compared with bigger bikes. The seat felt Quite comfortable, but I only used it for about 1 hour.
the owner of the bike is around 180 cm but lighter than me. He rides quite comfortably. 188 is a lot for any 125, but I think the KTM has a lot of space.
So you gotta keep this machine pinned to the higher rpms otherwise you ain't getting far ahead than a vespa scooter... ☺️ Besides if not obviously from red lining a 125😅
Aravind Dileep this bike isnt ran in, when doing 1000km service it gets so much faster and better acceleration. Also it dosent redline as quickly. The sound also improves greatly when ran in.
Axe991 When its not done the first service (1000km) it starts blinking at 6000rpm or something. After the service it starts way later. I own a ktm duke 2019 and my dad owns a 300cc vespa. I have more top speed but he has better acceleration due to the motor being almost 3x as large. So if ur talking about a 125cc vespa, then you obv don’t know shit.
Ok, first of all calm down. Secondly, I wasn’t talking about any Vespa. Thirdly, the fact that it redlines lower before the service doesn’t mean you cannot go to higher revs, it just tells you not to. If you have watched the video you can see that I go well over 6k rpm. So you just said a bunch of bullshit 😂 PS: 300 is 2.4x 125, so it’s closer to 2 than 3.
It depends on how you measure performance: if you just consider power output and top speed, then yes; if you consider chassis, suspensions and brakes, then it's a fair price.
just gone one in white mannnnn i cant wait !
Best of luck my friend!
Axe991 thanks :)
Hey how is your bike doing , it may have reached till now 😅❤❤
Just brought this exact model to get my bike license with. My dad's got the 690cc and they never disapoint.
i just turned 16 and thinking about buyng a 2019 model of the duke, is it worth it or are there a better choice?
The duke is a great bike, although expensive. I’ve not tried other 125 in a long time, but this one handles like a beauty

I think you got the 200 duke or 250
I'm 16, is it a good idea to wait until 18 and buy duke 390 instead of the 125?
You could get a used bike now and a 390 at 18!
You should buy a Duke now and sell it if you are gonna buy 390 instead. Duke's hold very good in price.

Can we off the ABS in 2017 and 2018 models ?
I have to say that I don't know, I'm sorry. Probably you can find info on the KTM website!
Dewashan Vithianandan yes on the 2017 you can turn Abs off.I dont know if you can do it on the 2018 model.
You can switch abs off only after first service but I wouldn't want to
Yes .....you can switch it off in 2018 ....but it has only 95 km/h as its top speed
Why this version is not available in India
In Italy you can ride a 125 when you’re 16. This is why they make it
Thanks for sharing this. beautiful views btw. 5:51
I was hoping the GoPro would’ve catched more of that view
You have awesome riding skills. Apart this do you use clutch less gear shifting and clutch less rev matching during this video?
Class? Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean (and thanks for the compliment)
@@Axe991 Sry for spelling mistake. Your gear shifting seems like without pulling clutch lever to changes gear.
Oh ok! Now I understand. Yeah, I almost never use the clutch. It’s faster and easier, and it does not damage the bike if done the right way

I think it is a great choice as a first bike. A nice engine and a really good setup. Easy to ride and fun in the corners!
