Good, accurate review. Those Elacs sound so good for the money because you're paying for sound quality, build quality, speaker element quality, not JEWELRY. I am not into jewelry at all. But as a musician, I am into good sound. And I know when I hear a good speaker. And of course I like tubes somewhere in the mix. I have seven older B&W speakers. I'm not using them now. I'm running the elac debut reference dbr62. Yes they are still $700, while many other brands are lowering their prices. Gee, wonder why? These new elacs and the older DBR 62 punch way above their price. Very high quality components, great design and build quality. Solid cabinet. Mine go down to 30 hertz, so not using a subwoofer. Now these are not going to get loud enough to break your windows, but I prefer to have my paintings stay on the wall anyway. I don't need really loud music, I just needed to shake the couch a bit and sound fantastic, more like a live performance. I am selling my Bowers & Wilkins. If I ever get more speakers, they will be elacs probably. Or something designed by Andrew Jones... MoFi? Thanks for the video. You have a good ear sir.
@guachito33 Turn of events. The Debut 3.0 got delayed until January so the dealer offered me a pair of Elac Debut Reference DBR62s for the same price. I accepted and I am very happy with them.
They sound great with a class D amp with tube preamp. Surprisingly good. If you can get about 50 clean watts per channel, you're good to go. That might take 100w per channel amp.
Great review Sir. Thank you. How would you compare these to the Klipsch RP600M-II? The Klipsch are on sale on Amazon for a ridiculously low $380 during Black Friday weekend. The Elac’s are $450.
i’m buying the small version of this in a few months for my home theater

I wish there was a comparison video between Elac's dB62 vs db63.
Mine come in a couple of weeks. I am lucky to have an official Elac distributor in my country so same price as in the US.
update ??

Thanks for the review. Would they be a good fit with and amp D, like the Fosiaudio TB10D?
I don’t see why it wouldn’t be.

I’ve had my eye on this to replace my Klipsch RP 600 M. Mainly looking for a speaker that adds a little more imaging. Does that sound like an upgrade?
Hi sir pls suggest me a good av receiver or an integrated amplifier for pairing these bookshelf speakers elac db63.
How does it Match up to R3 Metas 🤔
An intro to make scrunchy faces 😆
