@@jonathanrynjah yea that’s true about a lot of them. I find scp to be a really cool concept, but do admit that its execution can be lackluster at times. Thats why I love to see these smaller horror projects do really cool things in a similar genre.
After jordon mentions schrodinger's cat I thought I had figured it out. But it further increased the suspense and confusion. Absolutely loved it and specially the shot when he starts firing the automatic weapon and the ghost or whatever it is, dodges all of them and is visible momentarily in the flashes. Absolute cinema!!!
amazing film. This is how you do VFX. Saving those key moments made them so effective. And the reveal of the apartment with the newly invented muzzleflashes was *chef's kiss*
I am 0:48 into this video and thaT CAMERA WORK! That camera motion, that lock on, that transition into the drone monitor, that cinematography! I am INTO IT!
Bro created a new concept of horror genre. I hope this gets a movie adaptation in collaboration with A24 along with Sam & Niko as directors. THIS WILL BLOW UP.
This was actually an awesome watch! The camera movement in the beginning were cool and unusual, the lighting was stellar and the monster is cool with a nice concept. I hope there's more parts to this, it deserves more story!
This is legitimately the coolest. Using concepts like non-Euclidean geometry and quantum superpositions, which are fundamentally difficult to comprehend if all your knowledge is based on classical physics, is a brilliant way to induce horror. Horror is ultimately based in the unknown and unknowable, and these concepts lend themselves perfectly to the genre. Brilliant work!
@@jonathanrynjah only thing you'd have to do to make this SCP is slap a logo patch on their uniform somewhere. that's literally it. Or actually, probably better to not even advertise a secret organization's logo openly on a uniform so.. just don't change anything at all.
@@jonathanrynjah It's such a huge database of stories, and a lot of them fit the bill of what your describing, but also a lot of them are just 'this guy scary, he hard to kill, he kill you, he escaped' but in more words. I partially agree with you, but I love SCP database as a trove of where potentially interesting stories could be hiding.
Not gonna lie fella's, this is your best concept. Thats saying a lot, because you've guys been doing this for such a long time and have made a lot of great concepts, but this shit? It deserves an entire movie. This is like some backrooms shit. Imagine Denis Villeneuve took this concept, and made an Arrival quality film about a group of scientists and their escorts entering into the quantum realm to study it, the intensity and build up to something so potentially terrifying and important for our understanding of the universe and our consciousness. You guys are tapping into some very advanced subject matters, and it shows how much you've guys improved and matured over the years, that you tackle scientific concepts as well to silly video game stuff like last week's mario video. EDIT: I would continue to use this hallway from Grey Matter as a way to explore more concepts like this, different rooms lead to different scientific horrors, sort of like how in Beetleguice there's that twisted hallway with all the rooms that lead to different dimensions. I believe Bill & Ted did something similar in hell? I can't remember exactly to be honest, it's been a whole but I love the trope and I've seen it multiple times in my life, where the main character is trapped in a bizarro hallway with doors and the only way out is to open the doors and hope one of them is the exit, but you have no idea what's on the other side of each door, and they are all equally haunting in their own way, some have some horrible creature existing in their version of a living room, relaxing and you've stumbled into an alternate universe where instead of people, it's basically horrible grotosque monsters living "ordinary lives" living in trash and blood covering their walls, kind of like this short. What I'm saying is, there's room to use this hallway from Grey Matter as the jumping off point for these kind of horror stories, and over time, it can feel like a series, or combined into a movie. At the very least, a very good playlist.
I really hope Corridor will keep making short films based around this world. Its such high quality and is such a good concept. Maybe I just love non Euclidean stuff but I think its so interesting for horror as it is the only way where horror actually makes sense because all horror has elements of non Euclidean in some shape or form.
HELL YEAH. This was a great follow-up. I love how the hand disappears at the end because it's being observed. 🤯 I can't wait for the next installment of broken physics 🤩🤘
This is the first Corridor project in 10+ years where I absolutely see a larger studio wanting to give y’all a bigger budget. Maybe it isn’t even needed, but between the concept, execution, sound design and acting taking a huge step up (especially with Guy and JC) an iteration of this deserves to be on the big screen. Corridor might have it’s TALK TO ME here
The fact that when he started shooting at Schrodinger's Zombie, the environment changed with every shot, because he couldn't SEE it, so everytime it changed. That's chilling.
Exactly what I was thinking, actually gave me a better understanding of the video I think. The ending with the camera phasing out the monster reminded me of the quantum tower puzzles.
This is amazing! You’re truly at the top when it comes to quality creators! Blending the music into "reality" by making it part of the phone's sounds really grounds it and pulled me in. I’m so glad you guys continue to make videos.
The best thing for me, besides all the great work showed in the behind the scenes, is that you never have a clear view (at least at a first time watch) of how that zombie actually looks like, so your imagination can fill on the gaps and make it even more terrifying that it actually is. Something that a surprisingly small amount of movies/games do. That and the good implementation of AI generation.
This reminds me of the quantum effects in “Outer wilds” it’s 1 to 1, is there any other games that work like this? Cus realize quantum effects don’t I think

This is phenomenal, from the concept itself which so mind bending to execution - even after having watched the BTS on the other channel and knowing the real personalities of actors, the suspense of disbelief was real strong, i was fully immersed and biting my nails watching this
Honestly, im down for a while horror series. You guys execute these effects and theories so well that while giving a sense of horror you're also perfectly describing the scenario.
This has been my favorite series. I just love the eeriness and not knowing what will happen next. I always feel that when the monster is revealed it ruins the horror, so it’s so cool to have that aspect of unknown.

This is like an "Alien" style kind of tension. If you replaced the supra dimensional boogie man with a xenomorph sneaking in and out it would work just as well!
Stunning work! The cinematography, lighting, shot composition etc… were nicely done. The set extensions also served a great purpose to making it truly feel like a void. Solid work all around!
This is amazing and the light Niko built for the muzzle flashes is next level thinking it just makes this so much more real its all really smart. Jordan, D and Gui do an amazing job here too at really selling it.
