I was born in Cebu City, Philippines and immigrated here in USA back in the early 90's. I am proud of my filipino upbringings and proud to be an american as well. I live and work here in Arlington, Texas and honored to be living here as a Texan now.. Go Cowboys!
Nothing beats being home for the Holidays...................I've spent 3 winters in Cebu over the last 5 yrs.............the weather is nice in January there but still I like the Holidays in U.S...........
Welcome back to the States, Chad, what a nice piece of Americana you presented today. You represent the best attributes in the American Male. Make sure and keep the girl and say hello to Ave. Keep on blogging. Best Regards, JP
I was born in Houston, and moved to Cebu City from Corpus Christi, Tx... We are proud of our state capitol, UT Longhorns, BBQ, Tex-Mex food, and Austin is the live music capitol of the world... Thanks for the video....
Good times in Texas myself while stationed at San Antonio, I think it was called K-Street in Austin...lots of College kids roaming around...it was cool. I lived in Cavite, Philippines for 2yrs came back to states, I miss Mall of Asia. Pretty cool.
So many things in common. Austin, Salt Lick (actually my first visit was when they had a steakhouse next door to the BBQ back in 1975), Palawan, Manila, Cebu, and on and on. I have made about 16 trips to RP, been to 15 or so islands, and have in-laws there. Good luck and maybe our paths will cross someday.
I am 2 hours away from Austin in Kerrville! Originally from Cebu. I was just in the Philippines last December and going back again in April. Yes the Philippines has so much to offer. Made a trip to Thailand and was disappointed in Phi Phi Island. We could have spent those 3 days to add to our El Nido and Coron trip instead. Good luck guys!
Nice vid....tell your brother to check out the HEB Mueller Café, off of east 51st street! It’s inside that new HEB! Their BBQ is fall-off-da-fork delicious!! Salt Lick BBQ ain’t all that, that’s for sure!! The only thing it has going for it, is that it’s all you can eat!
Hi Brother, I searched "Palawan Expat" in UA-cam and your video appeared. I'm returning to Philippines this year, and am looking at housing options in Palawan. Do you know the current short-term, long-term options for apartments and houses. Are there furnished options?
Ah, OK... Lived there almost all my life, and no problems for me... Just like any other place, if your walking, and make a turn, and it doesn't look right, don't go down there... If you don't like beggar's, don't go to California... The police let them stand anywhere... Seen them sitting on the bank steps... If you need safety, go to Idaho, Montana, or one of the Dakota's... Stay safe... Merry Christmas...

Austin's the bomb dude. Especially 6th Street on weekends after dark.

Wow, I'm from Texas myself, it's a whole different country for sure. I almost love it as much as the Philippines but not quite ;)

dude life in austin seems better, you seem to fit it like a hand in glove there.
Please bring Salt Lick to the P.I. LOL Lechon tastes like mushy mystery meat compared to U.S. BBQ

You may have all the luxury, food, nice car there but be honest, it's boring in the U.S.
Only two things come from Texas....steers and queers...and you don’t look much like a steer to me!
Not a fan of texas, very unsafe and lots of beggars
Your loss!!!
Bruce Boggan nah. I’m good. I’ll visit safer sates than to be in texas. It’s a matter of choice though:)
