It's obscure sets like this that make that era of Lego Star Wars so much better. Rather than wasting slots remaking a set we've seen many many times, it's making something special with characters we would never see otherwise
Apparently the aurebesh on the side of the ship is supposed to read “Nice playing with ya”, meanwhile the Lego sticker reads “UAI?G FYHTGH?”. (With ? being a placeholder for letters that don’t exist in aurebesh)
Din Djarrin’s ship, the Razor Crest seems to be inspired by this ship, just a fatter version of it in all gray, but there are yellow highlights on that one too.
I don't want to sound corny, I'm more of a character who criticizes, the usual thing on the net, and I rarely praise anything... but man, you do great reviews, + and - from set, you're full of positives in those old sets, because of you I bought some old for my collection, you have become my best channel for Lego Star Wars right now, I know there are bigger ones with reviews of almost all the sets, but you give some fresh insight into those old sets. I want your hobby to become a business, i.e. this channel and you get many more subscribers, so that it will be profitable for you. Honestly thumbs up from me. Great job. 👍
Wow. This is the first time I've really taken a look at this set in forever. Looked weird as a kid, saw one review and that was it. Looking back, this was one hell of an epic playset with awesome minifigs and one cool main function. Thanks for allowing me to see this, I might go buy it now lol.
Aren’t a lot of these kind of sets based of concept art? Lego probably didn’t know it would have rarely been in the show and maybe the designer took creative liberties when designing the play feature.
This ship is called The Halo (I learned that from LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars). I always thought it was pretty cool. I love how aggressive it looks in it's flying mode. It reminds me of that VTOL that the United States military has.
Actually if you watch the episode where Ahsoka gets rescued from the trandoshans, the landing gears are down when they land at the jedi temple. So it is accurate

Fun fact, the treasure in the box is suppose to be a holocron, and in legos adverts it was being pursed by the T6 shuttle
Oh that's super cool!

I had that set as a kid. Only a couple of pieces from this set remain in my drawer

I love this set and it’s one of two retired sets I really want for my final collection, however the asking price for this set is crazy to me!

Ah that is a great catch!
Recently rebuilt mine, such a great, and very odd ship
Keep these retired unboxing sets coming 🙏🏽
