    *News*
Lewis Family Racing will run a special paint scheme for this week's event in Texas. While the team was in Bristol, they lost one of their own. Dustin Lewis Jr said "While we cannot go into details as it is a family matter, this person wanted us to run the car white for the season. Of course, Black won the team vote. However, to honor him and his contributions to the team, we will run the car as he would have would have wanted."
*Dustin Lewis Jr. finishes at 3rd at Texas*
Me as a commentator: Bobby Labonte's older brother Terry won at Texas last year, like brother like brother. Checkered flag, Bobby Labonte is Texas Motorspeedway's 4th winston cup winner, Ricky Rudd is 2nd, Dustin Lewis Jr. in 3rd Dale Earnhardt Sr in 4th.
Bobby Labonte: You're the best brother, I tell you week in and week out. There you go boys, way to go, great job!
Bobby Labonte's crew chief: Great job, great job all around
Dustin Lewis Jr.: It's been a rough week but we pushed through with a top 5 today.
Chad Knaus: Indeed, we did. Great job buddy, great job.

@@dustinlewis712 Yeah I was thinking to myself "Oh shoot, that can't be right. Dustin passed Dale for 3rd on the last lap" and then I mess up again by saying you finished 4th, I'll fix that error.
Maybe you should show all the finish results and then the points.

@sezniteowl5398 I should have, I was running on fumes the last little bit of the edits. I have to manually do alot of the standings and results by hand. Thats why I can do these vids about once a week.

I did not see Adam Petty in this race, Texas in 2000 was his first cup start in real life. Maybe his cup debut could be in the next race at Martinsville in the #45 Sprint Chevrolet for Petty Enterprises.
When it comes to your Busch series team, we've talked about Ron Hornaday Jr. and his son racing for the team as well as another anonimous driver that won't be revealed yet. I'm thinking what if you added these drivers to the line up.
    Travis Sauter
    Casey Atwood
    Tyler Walker
I think having 7 drivers share a busch series entry is enough but that's just my idea.

I have 2 reasons for Adam not being at Texas for Cup: one canonical and one real.
The canonical reason is that Adam failed to qualify for Texas due to a qualifying crash. Entering T1, the car stepped out, and Adam overcorrected, slamming the wall. He is okay, but he has stated that the hit was monstrous. This event changes two things; the HANS Device mandate is now being considered, and Adam now owns one for both Busch and Cup.
The real reason behind his debut was his car NOT showing up in the list. His car file was there, just no model for it. I had to do some wizardry; his car is now sorted, and you will see him soon.
I like the idea of these guys sharing a ride in Busch. I have to play that close to my chest right now. More to come. I spent much of my free time developing the timeline, and let's just say certain events playing out differently have massive shakeups.

@@dustinlewis712 So Adam, Kenny and Dale will be kept alive in this career mode?
Do you have any other drivers you want to add to that list? Maybe Buckshot Jones could get some seat time in LFR's busch car while the rumours still swirl about his 2001 plans.

@@sezniteowl5398the HANS Device mandate is being considered, not yet mandated. Cannot comment any further on that.
Buckshot's career isnt over yet, can't spill the beans yet despite wanting to.

@@dustinlewis712 After Adam's qualifying crash at Texas, it should definitely be mandated.
Yeah keep it a surprise, it's all just speculation right now.

@@dustinlewis712My son found a reddit post which featured what race cup races Adam Petty was supposed to run in 2000 before going full-time in the 45 for Petty Enterprises in cup for 2001.
      5 races
      Texas
      Charlotte (Coke 600)
      Bristol (Fall race)
      Homestead
So for the final 8 seasons of Kyle Petty's cup career, he can stay in the 44.
Kenny Irwin Jr can stay in the 42 until 2002 and then Chip Ganassi Racing moves him to the number 41 in cup. Jamie McMurray takes over the 42 full time in 2003 meaning Casey Mears stays in the Busch Series for a few more seasons.
Now, if Dale Earnhardt is kept alive in this career mode then DEI's mergers with Ginn and Ganassi would not happen and Dale Jr would still race for DEI.
