Great comparison Have you been able to take a peak at the transformers of both Uber Ultra's? Do they use the same power and output transformers for the EL34 and KT88 amps
I don't think they do. I ordered a EL34 version and it's been delayed because of the shortage of the transformer but the KT88 and 6L6 versions are more readily available. Also from what I was told, the EL34 version can be biased to accept 6l6 or KT88 tubes where as the other two versions can not be biased to accept other tube variants. I'm not super sure about that info but that's what I've been told more than a few times.
My understanding was that they were the same in the el34 and high PV KT88 only amps. The 6L6 amp transformer is supposedly different. I didn't look at the actual transformers though before I ended up trading the KT88 Uber. Swapped it with a buddy since I thought they pretty much sounded the same. Will likely do a video of the new amp this weekend!

I have the EL34 version, and it can accept EL34s, KT88s, or a mixture of the two. I personally prefer the mixture.
