Without a doubt the most INSANE CS:GO movie I've ever seen. It was an absolute pleasure to have inspired this & helped nikky out on the project. I'd love to thank nikky for the privileged of even being involved in this, huge huge thank you to her. She creates true masterpieces. Absolutely lost for words.

Hahahahahah rofl but It won't look like this. The graphics are worse than this because of uts game engine, source engine. If they want to have a good graphics like this, they would take the game files into another engine like Unreal Engine 4. Idk how he did all these montages but only rtx support wouldn't make it.

Coming back to this video after 4 years. Such an iconic fragmovie and my personal favorite. Its brings back such good memories of freshman year in high school. The 2015-2016 CSGO scene was my personal favorite. Such a great time to be an Envy fan. Everybody wanted to be like kennyS, all the old maps, none of the bullshit.

not really. 99% of people would absolutely hate it if the game looked like this, its like impossible to see anything and way too dark, like cod

it's really difficult to get a good balance between good looking and professionally viable. if cs go could somehow look this good and still be playable i would be all for it (though some of the weapon skins i may not be 100% with ('*~*) but that's just opinion) it's just you need to be able to be able to see everything, like not be getting killed from stupid spots that make the enemy invisible. that's why they put white paint behind the car at long on dust2, so you can see people standing there better
I agree.The only thing I think would look good is "some" of the graphics, but most of the skins looked pretty bad.

A couple softwares I'd imagine. This had to have taken at least half a year to create. Theres a lot of animations being created outside of the actual footage that was clipped. Then they proxied the footage allowing for them to create these awesome effects like the huge splashes of water, the gun skins, the tornado's. Really awesome work

Why would you even render at 8K there is no need for it. 4K maybe then down scale, but 8K completely unnecessary.
A game runs in realtime, this is made in a 3d software witch would of took around 15+ minutes each to render each frame and thats not even including the compositing done after its rendered.

I remember watching this and being super impressed, and knowing that I couldn't even imagine what kind of pipeline would be involved in this. Now here I am in 2020 after a decent amount of time put into learning 3d packages, NLEs, level editors, and DAWs I can better understand how little I understand. This is incredible work that stands up very well still. If anyone in the comments has any insight, what exactly am I watching? I wanna say a clean version of the demo, which is crazy considering how non-ideal it still is after much improvement since 2016. Maybe some Source Filmmaker? Extra assets in Max or Maya, some effects and sims in Houdini and/or AE, maybe put into a different engine like Unreal? and cut in Premiere probably. The use of 3D makes it a whole different beast compared to even the best edits done in Premiere supplemented with minimal AE effects. And that's on top of the creative direction and pure duration of it all. Incredible work!
