She recreates the scenes, models, and clips in another software. There is no actual CS:GO footage in here from the game itself.
actually it is she just renders it in unreal engine and uses c4d and element 3d etc to do the extras

Kinda disappointing tbh. Expected more of a "hype" feel but over a minute of sponsors + intro and to chill music ruined it. Clockwork 4 still gonna be my favorite edit.

Holy shit this was amazing. Literally the time and talent into changing the whole scenery of the maps is just beautiful.
Trying to give a reasonable statemet why I think this was much worse than cw4:
- 1 minute of advertisement for gambling? Please no... Take any other sponsor but gambling
- The very first bits were all cinematics with a tank. Last time around it was a molotov, something actually existing in csgo
- The illustration of kills is way too subtle and gets lost in overedit
- I want these graphics to be actual cs graphics, however there was not a whole lot of interesting editing. Nikky is definitely talented when it comes to recreating cs maps as shown in these clockworks. In fact, her last cw4 was a master piece of an edit. In here, the onky thing I enjoyed were the stunning visuals. I felt like the artist was out of ideas or focused too much on map design
- The music choice was not good. The first few minutes, this instrumental stuff killed a lot of atmosphere. The second song I don"t mind personally, but it didn"t quite fit
Would also like to add that the music kept going from a good bassy quality to like a earphone quality sound. Sounded weird.
I agree on everything except that I like the graphics not to be cs graphics.
But I have to add that it is an csgo EDIT and it got like ten clips in it. Thats a bit few for five minutes.
Still a good video and people gotta honor the work put into it tho!
I can totally agree with this, but i still think it was good, just in comparison with cw4, it looks less appealing. cw4 was a masterpiece, its hard to get even better then that. It's still possible, but it would be hard. (Sorry for this rant, you weren't even saying it was totally bad, i just kinda went on, you were just critiquing it, and comparing it to cw4. This was going to be at the end but I didnt wan't you to just have to read through all that if you don't want to. ) 1 reason why it could be worse than cw4 is that Nikki herself said this:
"After suffering serious data loss halfway through the project due to a hard drive failure, I managed to piece this thing together. I hope you enjoy."
That could have totally killed the whole cw5. Having a hard drive failure in this big of a project, would be devastating. The amount of work put into just half of it is immense.

Lights and shading: 10/10
Models quality: varies from 3 to 10
Music choice and action sync: 4
Camera and flow: Total garbage
Nikky, you have to work on your flow ALOT. This is the biggest turnoff for me in your vids. They look cool, but they feel static and lifeless, like a still picture. There is no head bobbing, there is no knockback from a weapon that literally can crush people's skulls and break walls. There is no weight of utility, armor and weaponry on a person. Your characters feel like massless points in space which just drift along the path line, instead of feeling like a living creatures with emotions, weaknesses and moments of strength.

Power, strength and epicness of a frag moment is only making an impact when there is a buildup for it. When there is pressure, fear and vulnerability. Then you can feel how epic frag is, because player managed to outplay their opponent when fortune was not on his side. This is what makes a WOW frag.

You should not make all of the frags this way, but if there will be a buildup and a release then it will create a flow that makes viewers to cheer for the player.
You know by yourself what's wrong with graphical part. Sometimes there is too much clutter, sometimes there is not enough details. I'd only suggest to look into Maro's work. He has a nice balance between clutter and useful details.
Still shots are too long. They must show the reaction of the world to the player's action in most captivating way. With build up and then smooth release. Not just "Eheheh sv_gravity -200".
Also you might try to zoom onto bodies when doing slow-mo. It might help.
Music sync is just bad. Just... Idk... If by this point you're struggling with sync, then either you've lost your motivation, or you haven't seen other people's frag movies. Sorry.
I'm not saying that you should go to the extremes about what I say, but try to analyse and apply this suggestions with right balance in mind. Because the truth is always somewhere in the middle.
I'm not writing this to make you feel bad, but rather to point out some problems.
I hope my feedback will help you improve.
Danil Ozerov 'flow' is a fairly new standard to judge edits by in the past few years, traditional frag movies couldnt care less about flow and i think the clockwork movies fit the definition of 'frag movie' better than 'edit', this new obsession with 'flow' and the 'perfect velo' in the last few years is killing the editing scene
MattysEdits there's a major difference between movie and edit. A movie is meant to have flow, to tell a story or transition from kill to kill in a meaningfull way whilst an edit is purely to show off cool frags.

Stop complaining about the contrast and how the graphics look because you wanted to see the frags. This is a CSGO MOVIE not a CSGO FRAG MONTAGE... This focuses more on editing skills and cool ideas a frag montage is all about the frags. So stop complaining.
What's the point in spending hours upon hours of syncing, mixing, animating and rendering when you can't actually tell what's going on half the time?

Only thing i don't like about her videos is when you can't even see the people the player is shooting because she made the areas too dark. Other than that this is a really well made film with lots of detail and good work put into it
Well, that's what makes a movie like this art. Such an edit is not about frags, even if it mainly consists of frags. See it like an abstract painting, you never know what's going on at the first look, you have to analyse and understand art.

Did she take this down from her own channel? I don't see it on there. I know that when she first released it, everyone gave it hate because of petty things like "It wasn't as long as Clockwork 4" or "That music mashup is trash".
If they would've read her description below the video, she had a hard drive that fried and she lost most of her work, so she released what she had. It pisses me off when people are so ignorant of all the work that goes into her videos.
