Valk and Tiandi nerfs were certainly deserved. Whether it's enough remains to be seen. A good first step to evaluate what else might be needed.

I agree that the patch is pretty solid. I hope to see the dodge/dodge attack changes have more payoffs. The Shugoki thing was a pleasent surprise. I can't think of anything else off of the top of my head, but I'm sure there will be more good things to come from it.

I hope they fixed the warmonger glitch on the level 3 bash where you bounce of the enemy if they hit you at a weird time

Very good patch overall. I was advocating for those kind of nerfs for valk (lowering the damage of the overall mixup not just the bash) since the rework dropped. Shugoki might need more, but it's a start, and it is nice to have actual minion clear as warmonger

I'm not sure if I'm imagining things, but I think I'm running 120 fps on my PS5. Things look like they're running smoother; the PS menu runs at 60 normally but when I launch FH, my monitor switches to 120, but I also don't see a mention of this in the patch notes...
As for the higher fps on console, im on ps5 and ive felt the menus run at around 120 now, while in game I still feel the same old 60
Question how do you view your fps count on console.
You may not be able to answer as I'm on xbox but I'm still curious.

Agree, menu feels much more snappier than before. Don't notice anything in battle.

They should undo the whiff bash thing and distance thing
And replace it with the stance draining your stamina if you sit in it

Can someone help me with shaman? I throw people bleeding to the side and they can dodge my bite what am I doing wrong
can they fix cents punch mix-up already? it hasn't worked properly since they "buffed" it a few seasons ago.
I don't know but I think they changed the animation for aramusha right heavy faint into left light
It's not an rumor I tested it on my PS5 and yes indeed I have in the Menu 120fps in a match the fps is between 90-110

I’m pretty sure they buffed emote spam, I can now spam “War!” so much faster now.
No wonder for honor was looking a bit more smoother than usual on my Ps5 9:24
For honor runs at 60 or higher in the menu, before it was always at 30. My monitor shows 120hz when using 120hz mode on the ps5 and it does run at higher fps, i can be sure that it runs at least at 100 fps or more. This on a ps5 with a 144hz monitor.

I despise valk sweep. Too low risk high reward. and sometimes I still get hit by it when I dodge it. frustrating as hell

I was wondering why my fps jumped after this patch (PS5). I hope it stays, unless it gets in the way of performance somehow.

The changes are strange to me when considered together. Valk doesn't get to throw a follow up light after a whiffed bash anymore, which were pretty easy light parries if you were expecting them, but Tiandi can still tiger dodge out of a whiffed kick to stuff a gb attempt. Idk, I think damage nerfs for Valk were fine alone, people just needed to get used to gbing on read when seeing a heavy to catch her going into all guard.

Valk's shield tackle is much more accessible than the dragon kick, is one big part of the puzzle you've omitted.
Is tiandi still worth starting as a new player in duels after the nerf? Is he still S/A tier?

I think the removal of chains on bash is a big hit to valk for duels. I'd rather they nerfed the dmg to 16 and keep the chain offence. Way more useful in 1v1 and ganks.

@@ahhhsothisishowyouchangean162 Perhaps, but many charecters can bash chain and seems less balanced in duels or a 1v1, where you could punish her even before the change. Now a 18dmg bash for a potential gb to 34dmg from jj is high risk low reward. Also think her pressure that top tiers dislike still exists, so the change won't impact their ask. Will have to see how she is live, but sceptical.
@@shad0wx9 but that just belongs to JJ, and you have to know that valk has full block properties before her bash where as other characters does not
@@ahhhsothisishowyouchangean162 Several others have high raw heavies, jj was just an example for the gb punish.
The full block before bash is both good and bad, as you first need to soft feint a heavy or dodge forwards. Other charecters reach the full block quicker so it's application is slightly different. This also effects the bash application.
They still need to fix the error code alot of people have been having as of late who have been unable to play the game for about a week

Removing the chain on whiff is a huge loss but real warriors will adapt.
If anybody needs hitbox buffs it would be kyoshin. His animation and spins definitely cover his whole body around him.

holy cow what a pressing issue. Can't believe that they are just letting someone get barely above average damage on a guard break. Surely this is the biggest problem with Shinobi, and the character roster overall

This may be the case. However he still has low damage and wierd offense but the headbutt may still be to much. We will see though.
no not his side dodge headbutt, the forward one is punishable but he can throw a heavy on whiff and trade with the opponent IF they press any attacks after the dodge attack (unless its a bash which will cancel his armor)
@@Sam_Hyde_Apologist in the video you see him constantly tradeing in his favor after a dodge headbutt wiff.
@@disparu6007 I guess if the defender dodge attacks too slow the shugo trades but other times the shaman blocked it. I think he will trade more often against certain heroes
@@Sam_Hyde_Apologist it seemed inconsistent. The shaman ate quite a few when she did an instant dodge. It mostlikely depends on direction.

@@thevoicej2511 Well IMO, the biggest offender (as per usual) is his feats. His tier 1 gives him a 20 health swing on a heavy parry, and makes his new move (GB heavy to wallsplat) pretty damn useless, since you can just knee the guy and throw them for the same effect but better.
His hammar slam being so easily accessible makes his tier 2 pretty damn busted as well. Anytime I get hit with a slam, I can't press buttons against the dude for another 5 seconds afterwards. It's like a mini, worse Umbral Shelter but way more accessible.
Shin bonk is also just very annoying. It may lack the range of similar bashes (Shaolin sweep, Tiandi kick, Valk sweep), but at least those attacks don't pin me for quite as long AND make the dude who bonked me invincible for awhile. Chaining after a whiffed bonk can heavily punish even a slightly late punish attempt as well; the move can be surprisingly difficult to punish despite its immense strength. How his shin bonk goes through without nerfs but Gryphon's 28 damage chain ending GB punishable kick was seen as too strong boggles my mind.

If there nerfing valk atleast give her some more stamina sheild bash takes almost half of her stamina every and two zone attack finish her stamina wether its low or not it just feel like she has less stamina then everybody because her move is so demanding on her stamina every 3 or 3 games i run out of stamina in a fight and just die cause im out of stamina and couldnt hit the last attack because of how slow it is , and valk right heavy is slow asf almost no one falls for valk heavy if you play domination you would know you cant use heavy you have to rely on her zone attack and as i said it takes all her stamina and makes her cant finish her combo the zone attack doesnt even do that much damage

I feel like Tiandi has gone back to being very easy to counter… seems hard to find a middle ground for him but I’ll have to pick him up again to really see
Even though valk is still pretty strong, I still think they should give her an undodgeable on finisher heavy

@@Manlikedee eventually (approximately 3 years from now when the devs get to it) damage will be reduced overall again or they'll nerf stronger heros back down again. So give valk an undodgeable on her finisher mixup and reduce her damage a couple more points and call it a day. They did the same thing with nobushi(I know she's not strong right now but she was in the past) same for other heroes with a bash finisher
She already has fluid 3 hit chains (any light heavy combo) with crushing counter plus bash mixups. She doesn’t need undodgeables to go with it
@@StoicScape219 black prior has all of that but a 3 hit chain, areeefa, conq but swap the CC with a full guard, kyoshin, musha doesn't have bash mixup technically but he certainly has everything else. Nobushi has that as well minus the cc but with a hidden stance so your point?
