Hey Misty, you now get a confirmed light punch after the knee parry punish, which doesn't matter much, but it gives you a bit more stamina damage if you don't get a wallsplat with the knee
I love how Centurion gets a single light off of his punch and kick, which are slower than Afeera follow up kick/bash, and they can be punished with GB if you dodge, at least lunch can. Afeera gets a heavy off the bashes, can feint the opening bash (similar to punch I suppose) but can also wallsplat off of one of these unpublishable badges (for characters without dodge attack) and deal around 45 damage while setting up further pressure. Am I missing something here or is Afeera really overtuned?
Not really, her hitboxes and i-frames are REALLY bad, she has good damage, one really big punish, and a couple glitched issues (gs kick, infinite wallsplat), but she's really not that bad. Definitely weaker than Pirate used to be. Stamina usage and revenge feeding are awful as well.

God I just want my punch to connect with Afeera. It's so frustrating how his quickest jab STILL completely whiffs her if they just spam dodge. It blows my damn mind how she's just a completely superior version of him just like Warmonger is a better Vanguard. Like fix the damn characters for fuck's sake man instead of just releasing new characters to override the old ones essentially.

I think Cent needs better hyper armour for the punch, and better tracking as well. Also give him better rewards for landing his mixups. Punch light is anaemic compared to what basically any other hero does. My man's still paying for the cutscene crimes
He's a Vanguard-Assassin Hybrid but plays like a Heavy, hopefully gets some kind of update one of these days but I couldn't even imagine what it would look like. They haven't. They have frequently stated that different characters take different amounts of time to work on. Jormungandr's rework has been getting worked on for 6-8 months before people even started complaining they forgot about him. Characters like Cent have an even longer problem-history and reputation with the community that they take more time with them. That said, yes he's outdated. But by no means is the balance gone. There has never been a point in this games lifetime that more heroes have been competitively viable. It's the healthiest it's ever been if you want to be serious about the game, and seek balance among other people who know how the game works.
that Afeera reactions were godlike... you couldnt hit a single punch on her... and even when you faint punch into grab, it would still not work... If I were in your place, I would cry and call her a cheater lol
I’ve fought a few people like this and I’ve noticed the ones that are cheating quite literally only get touched when you out feint them or hit them as they’re throwing an attack vs the ones that are making mistakes throughout and getting tagged
I've seen a lot of people saying "just don't fight near wall lol" when discussing about Afeera. Like bro, good luck camping on minion lane just to avoid fighting her near wall. 80% of the fight you have is close to a wall. She can access it very easy and safe while Nuxia and Valkyrie have no short cut to get to their last chain attack, and it's not guaranteed either to land that displacement attack, unlike Afeera after her bash.
Is anyone else having trouble dodging afeera’s kicks?? There are times where I dodge and her kick still tracks me through it. Maybe I’m dodging too early?? Idk. Some advice would be helpful!

The afeera is too monotony, maybe the 80% depends of the left and right, after 20 or more afeeras i can learn every patron of attack. Just provoke his left and right with cancel hit and eureka.. you will a free parry. All afeeras plays the same thing, that tactic works with all.
I love cent but he need a rework especially with the new stamina system he’s basically a disadvantage he use to be good before they change the way stamina works
Also cents a very under powered sad little guy now with nothing he has connecting properly anymore even it's throws is like a 3 year olds toss. Best advice I can tell you is instead of fishing for reactions with initial cancels do your one light -the only thing cent has that still hits- and cancel your heavy after that's the better *fishing* tech
