Her Solo and singing with Nightwish. She kept singing during her prehnancy recently and finally crashed after a succesfull concert and had to bedriven to hospital. Floor and her second daughter Lucy are fine now.

Okay I might be the slowest NW fan to notice it BUT, here was quite visible the fact that the higher Floor sang, the more energetic Tuomas played the keys. She's like an amplifier for him, even more to this day.
At the time of this concert Floor consider this one of the hardest songs for her to sing due to the extended belting. It has since been replaced by Shoemaker from their 2020 Human Nature album as the most difficult song for her to sing live. For that album Tuomas made it goal to challenge Floor, Marko, and Troy's vocal abilities. in Shoemaker their are rapid pitch changes, odd time signatures, and vocal melodies that were written for their storytelling effect rather then ease of singing. The band even said at the time of the album release that they didn't thing they would be able to perform it live. It was on the setlist for one of the virtual concerts in May of 2021 and with it's success it became a regular and very popular part of the setlist for the whole Human Nature tour in 2022 and 2023. Shoemaker is definitely worthy of your next Nightwish reaction. My favorite is the official lyric video because of the epic visuals to go along with the epic music, especially the ending where Floor goes full opera mode but the live performances from Hellfest and Deichbrand in 2022 are also quite stunning.

Well...At that time in 2013, this song was the most challenging vocal piece for Floor (believe it or not). And now, this song is not only in Nightwish set list (Last tour), but in Floor's Solo Concert, that was in Amsterdam, as well . I heard this song "Live" last year, and even without Marko, Floor did his parts beautifully and this song IS forever beautiful still on this day ! NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘
I showed my singing teacher this because Floor does such a great job of vowel modification! I mean she is sustaining very high notes even hitting F5 ! She is soooo relaxed! I tried singing this and I could only make it about half way! It will take some practice for sure!!! Great choice to react too!!
Everdream was written while Tarja was the lead vocalist, and she sang the song in her operatic style, .... essentially all head voice. When Floor came along, she elected to make it her own and instead of singing those sustained high notes all in head voice, she did it in mixed belting/belting, or as her musical method she learned from calls, Curbing. Simply stunning to watch and listen to. She is just absolutely unmatched in vocal ability, and her musical choices but also in her stage presence. I'm just feeling blessed I live in the time of Floor Jansen!
I feel that for that final chorus where the band goes into another gear, Floor’s rendition works better as her belting matches the intensity of the rest of the band, as opposed to Tarja’s rendition of remaining in her head voice.

Love Floor and she had baby Lucy in October. You should react to some of her solo stuff , with her other bands After Forever and Revamp and Northward. She released her 1st solo album called My Paragon. On her tour she was almost 6 months pregnant with Lucy when she quit touring. It was written for Tarja the first singer. She is leaving nothing in the tank and you can hear her bouncing off the upper end of her register. She even cracks once for a split second near the end, and I love that. She’s absolutely gassed at the end, and that’s saying something. Pretty damned sure this gal had 5 lungs lol.
